Story
Meet Milo, a handsome, happy young guy who is ready to find his forever family! We believe Milo may be a mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shepherd, and Terrier based on his looks and personality, but whatever his breed mix, one thing is certain: Milo is one very special dog.
Milo is fully housebroken and crate trained, and he has been doing wonderfully with his basic training and leash manners. He is an incredibly quick learner and genuinely loves to learn, especially when he gets to spend time with his people.
One of Milo’s favorite things is his crate! He is completely comfortable going in when asked and will happily run right into his crate when it’s bedtime. He sleeps peacefully in it overnight and settles beautifully. Like many young dogs, Milo can get excited and whine when he sees his favorite people or when he knows it’s time to come out and play—but he settles down quickly and easily.
Milo is also a social guy who enjoys other dogs. He loves to play and would be thrilled to have opportunities for fun and companionship with canine friends.
His foster mom is a professional dog trainer, and Milo has been lucky enough to have someone who understands dogs and has enjoyed helping him grow, learn, and become the wonderful companion he is today. She has absolutely loved fostering Milo and watching him progress.
Milo is looking for a family who will continue building on his training, give him plenty of love and enrichment, and appreciate his playful, eager-to-learn personality. In return, he promises to be a loyal, fun-loving companion who is ready to be part of a family.
