*Courtesy Post* Currently in North Park. Gemma was abandoned and picked up. She is spayed. We believe she is about 1.5-year-old. She is good with dogs and people. I have not seen her around cats or kids but she is such a calm, sweet girl that I don’t predict any problems. She will eat anything in front of her and loves to chew on toys and lounge on laps. Story
Moxy was one of the runts of her litter, so she overcompensates when she’s with the pack (barks more, begs for attention, and behaves more aggressively). She is very calm when she is away from them. Recently her sister and brothers started bullying her, so I am looking to find her a safe and happy home where she can thrive and serve her purpose as a doting companion.She is a wonderful pet and guard dog on her own, and she longs to have aattention from an owner/companion. I honestly see her doing well with a younger and active individual who can take her for walks and even runs, but she would also be a fine companion or service animal to an older person or a family with kids. She has excellent hearing, is smart and curious, but she isn’t fully house trained so this would be for someone who has a yard. She runs well and is a natural swimmer. She has experience going on long road trips, and hasn’t had any accidents in the car. She likes to honk the horn when you leave her in the car.

Meet Bogy PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. Email Kathy at calfornia@aol.com to meet him. ALSO NOTE THE SPELLING OF KATHY'S EMAIL. THIS IS NOT A TYPO. ARRF has no shelter and all of our dogs are in foster homes. Bogy is a high-energy dog whose breed is a mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback/Plot Hound. His coloring is brindle and white, he weighs 67 lbs., and is two years old. He is neutered and all vaccinations are up to date. He gets along fine with other dogs. He likes to play with female dogs his size. He likes walks, but will need someone that can handle a strong dog on a leash. Bogy loves to play in the yard, chasing balls and sticks. He is still learning about bringing them back! He has toys for in the house and that keeps him busy inside. Playing in the water and playing with best friend, Audrey, are lots of fun. He and Audrey wrestle together, run around, and are very close friends. NO little dogs or cats. He's crate trained, but prefers to sleep outside and spend the day inside with his foster. He is housetrained and has never gone potty in the house at all. He has no problems being in the yard or in the crate if he is left alone for a while. Bogy loves car rides, especially watching out the window. He thinks he's a lap dog and is always giving lots of kisses. He rarely barks, and even through he’s part Hound, he barks like any other dog, not a howling bark. He's good with other people. He hasn’t been around kids, but to be safe he should probably be in a home with older children since he is very strong and might accidentally knock a small child down.
