Story
Rosie’s Puppers are stunning little puppies who are just now 8 weeks old so they’re ready for their forever homes. There are both girls and boys in the litter so if you have a preference, I’m sure there’s a perfect match. These cutie patooties were rescued because the horrible person who let Miss Rosie breed abandoned her when she was very pregnant, and Rosie was taken in by a very kind older couple. Fortunately, though, Momma Rosie gave birth to beautiful, happy healthy and hearty puppies. These little dolls are very, very social, friendly, playful, goofy, and affectionate. They are great with other dogs, and wonderful with children and kitties. They're very gentle, friendly, chunky, and of course, adorable. These social little rascals are delightful and are wonderful, sweet, attentive, and smart. They are snuggly little dolls who will play like all puppies do and then fall asleep in your arms. Momma looks like maybe a Rhodesian Ridgeback / Labrador Retriever blend, but we don’t know who daddy was (or the daddies were!), but the pups could be mixed with pointer or some sort of shepherd dog. My guess is that these puppies will be about 40 pounds (maybe larger?) full grown. I don’t think you’ll ever find a cuter pile of pups! Of course, all our puppies have had vet checks and will be spayed or neutered, be microchipped, and have all their shots. Of course, their adoption covers their sterilization, their baby shots (a series of 3), Bordatella vaccinations, rabies shot, microchips, and whatever incidentals they might need to be sure you have a happy, healthy little family member! I’m a firm believer in allowing people to have a sleepover with their new best buddy to make sure that your entire family and your other pets all adapt well. We always take our dogs back if things don’t work out. For more information on adopting one of these cutie-pies, please email findabestbuddy@gmail.com or call 858-602-2061.

Story
Location: San Diego, CA **FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED** Say hi to Zoey, she is a pretty 3 year old Black Mouth Cur who is a love bug and will snuggle with you as much as she can. She has a bit separation anxiety and is distrusting of new people. She needs someone who is patient and willing to give her an adjustment period. She gets very attached to her humans. If someone approaches her that she does not know, she does not want them touching her. She responds well to a slow approach and to men pretty well. Just let her come to you and you will be fast friends. Zoey is fine with kids. She lives with a 5-year-old and a 16-year-old. She does well with both. Children she does not know, she is indifferent. No known medical issues. She loves belly rubs, sleeping with you (cuddles by your legs), she loves to run and chase, tennis balls are her favorite (she will sometimes even bring the ball back to you). Going for walks are fantastic and sniffing the big wide world around her brings her a lot of joy. She loves car rides but gets carsick easily. That is an easy fix. Zoey does great with the kitties! She can be a bit dominant with other dogs right now, this could be a result of her not yet being spayed. Slow and proper introductions will be best. Zoey will be spayed with her adoption. ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Jasper and Sienna are Courtesy Post Only and are not Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs. SCDR is not  responsible for any ownership, behavior, health, and representations made by the owner with respect to these dogs. You must contact their owner,  Danielle at  leyvadaniela@gmail.com    for further information.   ******** Ideally, they would go to a home together as we believe they are siblings and are very bonded but we are considering separating. They would do best in a home where their humans aren't away for very long and we recommend crate training when you are away or at night.    Sienna is a Vizsla mix around 40 pounds, about 1 1/2 years old. She is a timid little girl but very cuddly and playful when she gets comfortable. She and her brother love to take long walks in the neighborhood and parks. She is very food driven and enjoys bully sticks and treats. Still learning commands. She is not so great on a leash and needs some general training. She can be a little growly when other dogs growl at her but loves all people and children. She tends to follow her brother's lead and leans on him for guidance.  Sienna is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.     Jasper is a Vizsla mix and weighs around 50 pounds, about 1 1/2 years old. Jasper is a little chunky, mischievous love bug. He seems more pittie/lab but loves people and children the same. He is more confident than Sienna. He is all boy and a bit clumsy but loves cuddles and attention. He is great on a leash and a little more house broken but would also benefit from general training. He can be protective of his sister. Jasper is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.   For further information or to meet Sienna or Jasper, please contact, their owner Danielle at leyvadaniela@gmail.com  All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
