Explored the yard quietly.Didnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t get on the couch when invited, preferring to sit by the back door.Very chill dog, easy walker.Mellow energy and easy disposition.Seems to be potty trained. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Here is Chase. He is a 10 month-old old puppy mix breed. Handsome, smart, fast learner Chase loves the world: he is good with people, he loves all dogs and wants to play with them non-stop, he still learning language of his playmates and needs some guidance, but he has a strong desire to learn about the world and is interested in everything: plants, things, environments around him. He notices everything and he learns really fast: in no time learned “sit” command and the fact that he needs to go out (thing that is called “house trained”. He can stay in a crate, but he is good without a crate too- he is not destructive. It is not known how he will behave if left alone, he didn’t do well in the pound, as he was stressed in a confined space. He is absolutely capable of entertaining himself if/when others around him get tired of his exuberant energy. He can play with the simplest toys (rope, paper), and he does not destroy toys. He is a happy curious puppy who wants to learn more about the world around him. If Chase finds someone who will be willing to work with him and set rules and boundaries, teach him to walk on a leash and teach him to restrain his enthusiasm, he will be a wonderful lifelong companion for hiking, exploring the world or chilling at home.

If you are hoping to adopt an active boy, look no further than Chance! Chance thinks he is a lap dog but he is an amazing running companion. On walks, Chance greets all of our neighbors with enthusiasm and tail wags, shouts and murmurs of enthusiasm! He is house trained, a great sleeper through the night, and doesn't chew on furniture! He has been very calm, patient and loving with children as well! Chance would do well in a single-pet household that can give him lots of affection, exercise and a steady routine. He seems to be territorial about sharing his indoor space with other dogs, even though he is super friendly when out on walks. He has great endurance for walking and running. He is laughably terrible at playing fetch but still loves to run around and play. Chance is quick to learn and has picked up a new trick in just a few days with us! He would be a champ with a little obedience training. Chance is eager to please, loves praise, and is very treat motivated. He has big puppy energy and a big loving heart.
