Honey is a hound mix who turns 1 year old in May. She is around 50lbs and may get to be 60 to 65lb when fully grown. She loves to play ball but also just wants that human interaction by sitting by your side or rolling over for belly rubs. She has had some basic training but needs to be practiced daily. She has been spayed and UTD on shots. She needs to get out of the shelter so she can learn what family life in a home is like, she is being fostered. She is a fun girl and would do well with a fenced in yard to run after the ball in. She does need some exercise as she is still a puppy with long legs. She is dog selective but her Foster has 3 male dogs.

Story

Luke (Lukey) is a sweet, gentle dog that loves running the yard and fetching. My father got him from a friend (about a year ago) who's son had to deploy, and he intended to keep him, but after a long (successful!) battle with cancer, he no longer has the energy to keep up with Luke. Things we know: -We were told by the previous owner that Luke is NOT good with cats. We have never tried, but we assume it's a small animal/prey-drive thing. This is why we aren't able to take him from my father; We have a cat, small sulcata, and a python. -Luke has done GREAT with our dog Rufus. They are best friends. -Luke needs a yard. He will not do well being in a house for hours on end. -He is very sweet. He is a cuddler, and a couch hog.

We are still looking for a home for 2+ yo, sweet Daisy. She was attacked by 3 pit bulls & after surgery & recovery she has developed some fears. She needs someone who can make her feel safe. She is not afraid of me, but because I am married, work & also have a 2nd dog, I can't devote all of the time she deserves. She is spayed & up to date on all of her shots. She acts incredibly affectionate & wants to be near me at all time but she is leary of my husband, is rambunctious with my senior dog, & if I'm not at her side she can be snappy. She needs more attention & I hope for someone who has the patience to work through her insecurities. She currently lives outdoors, but I believe she'd be happier inside. Please if you're this person, consider taking this dog on as a love project. I know this may not be easy. Story

We got Major when he was a new puppy (only a couple weeks old). He has be our family pet for four years now. We are moving and he cannot come with us unfortunately. He loves to lick everyone he meets especially mom and dad. Very energetic and sweet. He has never bitten anyone. He likes to bark and be stand-offish when someone rings the doorbell or walks in from of the window. He is crate trained and at home we are voice controlled. He needs a family to play and give him the attention he deserves.
