Johnny Cash is bottled sunshine and warm breezes. He would love to be part of all your adventures! He is a Velcro dog, where you go, he goes happily. No place is private!Some of Johnny’s litter mates were DNA test and the results..... Rhodesian Ridgeback, Boxer, Terrier, and a sprinkle of silky terrier just so we can laugh. He is tall and long and very soft.He is one of the sweetest and goofiest boys you could ever meet. Everyone that meets him just can’t help but smile. Johnny is 10 ½ to 11 months old. He LOVES everyone – literally EVERYONE! His tail is nonstop wagging when he sees you. He loves to lean into you when you rub his sides.He is great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and genders. He loves to play. He would really thrive in an active home and one with another active dog. Johnny is great with cats and curious of the parrots but overall ignores them.Johnny is very smart boy! He would do best with someone that is willing to continue his training. We see him as a doggie ambassador. He would be excellent as a service dog so he can share his smile with others if that is of interest to his humans.He is crate trained for short periods of time. He does sleep at the foot of the bed. When he is out – he is out! Loves going on car rides. He loves food -he eats his meals and enjoys his fruit and vegetables.While he adores children, we feel it would be best for him to be in a home with older kids. We would worry he would try to chew on their toys and swallow them. He loves his benebones, antlers, non-rawhide chews like greenies or dried sweet potatoes. Maryann has not had it easy. She was adopted as a puppy, but when her dad got a new girlfriend, he decided that he couldn't be bothered with his dogs and so after a year, Maryann ended up back at the rescue. Now, she is hopeful that someone will see her sweet nature and beautiful colors and make her their newest family member. She is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, house trained and ready to be adopted. All she needs now is a good loving home full of happiness, playfulness and lots of love. She is in TN but one of our donors has sponsored her so the cost of transport to your area is included in her fee. We use the most animal friendly transport on the road, Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Hey everyone, meet JoJo! Do you love snacks? Then look no further, because this girl right here, was meant for you. Breakfast, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, dinner, midnight snacks are always welcome. This sweet girl has been in a loving home but due to a loss in the family and change in living circumstances, Miss JoJo finds herself looking for another one. She has not been around cats of small children, but has a naturally sweet disposition and gentle temperament. As a predominantly inside dog, JoJo is house trained but is used to spending time outside in a fenced yard. She has a playful personality and has played well with the other small dog that has lived with her. Please consider giving Miss JoJo a forever home to live out the best years of her life. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet.
