Story
Meet Trisha Yearwood Trisha Yearwood was the last born of Reba’s litter of 8, and she is one of “the twins.” The last two puppies born looked almost identical, and this tiny girl has always been extra special. Her mom, Reba, was rescued from the shelter after being there for about a month. When Reba was picked up, she appeared pregnant, and a vet visit confirmed she was a little over halfway through her pregnancy. Reba went to her foster home and, right on time, delivered 8 healthy puppies in the bathroom. It was quick, easy, and everyone was healthy as could be. Reba was a wonderful mom, and each puppy has grown into their own unique personality. She was pulled from the litter and kept in a crate right next to her foster at all times, receiving constant care and attention. This tiny girl proved she is a fighter. She pulled through, and although her early struggle left her with a bit of stunted growth, she is healthy now — just extra small. Because she was carried around and cared for so closely during her recovery, she is very comfortable being with people and loves being held, cuddled, and close.Trisha Yearwood may be little, but her personality is mighty. She is sweet, confident, curious, and full of life. Reba may have had a rough start, and this little girl had her own fight too, but she came through it beautifully. Now she is ready for a forever family who will love her tiny body, big spirit, and sweet little heart. Fill out an adoption application to join your family. Her $550 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY when medically ready.
