This is Jake, he almost 3 years old. He is male, neutered, with Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper vaccines on board. We adopted him over 3 months ago, and he is a very sweet guy. He is house-trained, and receptive to training. He is playful, loves to cuddle, and just spend time with you. He is friendly, and loves to meet people. When new people come to his home, he may be nervous at first, but after a sniff or a few hello pets, he acts like you were never new. The reason we are rehoming him is because we have an elderly cat. Jake is very prey-driven and cannot be housed with cats, or other smaller animals. Jake has done well with meeting dogs outside, and has made frien, but we can't say for certain if he would be able to live with other dogs. He wants to be friends with them to the point of being overbearing to other dogs. Jake doesn't like to be alone, so someone who works from home or has a farm would be perfect for him. He loves car rides, and I am fine with driving if needed!

I adopted Copper from my local shelter March, 2025. I am his 3rd owner, He is 2.5 yrs old and can be a real goofball and makes me laugh. Copper can test your patience as he is very strong willed and has acquired a selective hearing skill. He is smart and energetic. He gets bored and creates havoc to get attention. After 4 months we started to bond and he was becoming more trusting of me. Copper is good when left alone and doesn't destroy or mess anything up. He will sleep in his all night. He like a scrambled egg in the morning. Copper needs a family with energy to meet his. He tries really hard to do what is asked of him, but he gets distracted easily and is still afraid of things in his surroundings...trucks, dogs, people mailman, etc. He has improved but he is much stronger than me and I am not able to control him on the leash. Due to my current health issues, I do not think I would be doing Copper any favors if I keep him. He deserves better.
