Story

Otis is a wonderful, sensitive, sweet, snuggly dog (8 years old). We adopted Otis at 8 weeks and he quickly became best friends with our female Springer Spaniel. He’s happiest right next to us, cuddling. He’s become a wonderful running companion on leash and does very well off leash - always overjoyed to find a stick to play. As Otis grew, he developed sensitivities; delivery trucks backing up, windy days, smoke. If we’re on a walk, he wants to go home and sit in our lap. He recovers quickly. However, recently, he became scared of our daughter when she started walking. He mostly avoids her well. Though, there have been 3 incidents in 2 years when Otis felt cornered and barked at her close and loud. Our behavioral vet confirmed that he should be separated from small children. Now that we have a newborn son, it’s too challenging to give Otis what he needs and deserves. We hope to find a home for him where he can feel safe, loved and encouraged to play and find joy in his older years.

He is a high energy dog who is 2 years old.

Brownie was rescued from the jungle in Puerto Rico along with his siblings. He was then brought to the Love of All Dogs safe house, where he was housed alongside 30+ other pups.
