Story
I'm Dutches, a 3-year-old tan Ridgeback-Pointer mix with a loyal heart and a gentle soul 🐾. I'm spayed, crate trained, and I do well with other dogs — I'd love to meet you and any canine companions you might have! I thrive in a quieter, rural setting rather than busy city life, and I'll do best with someone who has previous dog experience and patience with my shy nature 💛. I'm looking for a home with children 8 and older. If you're ready to give a sweet girl like me a calm, loving forever home, I'd be so grateful to meet you.

Story
🐾 Meet Canela! 🐾 Name: Canela Age: 1 year old Gender: Female Weight: 64 lbs Size: Big girl, big heart! ❤️ Canela’s story is one of survival. We rescued her just minutes before she was scheduled to be euthanized at a high-kill shelter in South Texas, near the Texas–Mexico border. She was given a second chance, and now she’s ready to find the family she was always meant to have. Canela is a big, beautiful ball of energy with an even bigger personality! She is incredibly sweet, loving, smart, curious, playful, and adventurous. She loves being involved in everything her people are doing and is definitely a Velcro dog — if you’re there, she wants to be right there with you. ❤️ She LOVES to play, and water is one of her favorite things! Whether she’s running around, exploring, playing with her ball, or finding something fun to get into, Canela is always ready for her next adventure. She is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained, and she does well with kids. She also enjoys other dogs who can match her energetic and playful temperament. Now, let’s talk about her personality! 😂 Canela is not shy about asking for attention. She has a demanding little personality when it comes to getting love and attention, and she will absolutely let you know when she thinks it’s time to focus on her. She’s affectionate, people-oriented, and wants to be part of the action. And one very important Canela fact: She can jump ANY fence. And I mean ANY fence. 😂 Height does not seem to matter to this girl. Her future family will need to be extremely careful with fencing and have a secure plan to keep this adventurous escape artist safely contained. 🏡 Canela’s ideal home Canela needs an active home with people who understand and appreciate an energetic young dog. She would thrive with a family that enjoys outdoor adventures, playtime, exercise, and keeping their dog mentally and physically engaged. Her energy can be a lot if you’re expecting a calm couch potato — but if you’re looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy who will shower you with affection, Canela may be your girl. Once you get past her “I HAVE ENERGY AND I NEED YOU TO KNOW ABOUT IT!” personality, you’ll discover the most loving, loyal, affectionate girl. Canela has already fought hard for her second chance. Now she just needs someone who will give her the active, loving forever home she deserves. 🐾❤️ Could Canela be your next adventure buddy? Canela is spayed, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Meet Reba Reba has spent her life taking care of everyone else. Now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s beloved family dog. After spending nearly 5 weeks in a shelter, Reba was pulled into foster care for a fresh start. On the way to her veterinary appointment, it became obvious she was carrying more than a few extra pounds. An examination confirmed she was over halfway through her pregnancy. She was also diagnosed as heartworm positive, but that didn’t stop her from settling into foster care with her calm, gentle nature. Not long after arriving, Reba delivered 8 beautiful puppies in a quick, uncomplicated labor. She proved to be an exceptional mother—attentive, patient, and loving. She kept her babies clean, well-fed, and safe until they were ready to begin their own journeys. Once her puppies were weaned, Reba began her heartworm treatment and is now ready to find a family of her own. About Reba * Believed to be a 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback* Gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet* Adjusts quickly to new environments and routines* Gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages* Cats are not recommended—she isn’t overly fond of them* Walks beautifully on a leash and also enjoys a securely fenced yard* Quick learner who enjoys pleasing her people* Crate trained and happily goes to her kennel when told “Kennel”* Can also be left out in the home with no issues* Eats Purina Dog Chow and does well eating alongside other dogs* Fully vaccinated* On heartworm prevention* Spayed Reba has endured more than most dogs should, yet she remains trusting, affectionate, and ready to love. She doesn’t ask for much—a soft bed, a kind family, and the chance to spend the rest of her life simply being someone’s cherished companion. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Reba is ready to meet you. If you would like her to join your family fill out an adoption application.  She is HW+ and currently receiving heartworm treatment in Louisiana which will be complete on 9/3/26.  Her $350 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, heartworm treatment, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. ##2677598##

Story
Meet Trisha Yearwood Trisha Yearwood was the last born of Reba’s litter of 8, and she is one of “the twins.” The last two puppies born looked almost identical, and this tiny girl has always been extra special. Her mom, Reba, was rescued from the shelter after being there for about a month. When Reba was picked up, she appeared pregnant, and a vet visit confirmed she was a little over halfway through her pregnancy. Reba went to her foster home and, right on time, delivered 8 healthy puppies in the bathroom. It was quick, easy, and everyone was healthy as could be. Reba was a wonderful mom, and each puppy has grown into their own unique personality. About Trisha Yearwood•     Born: March 29, 2026•     Age: 13 weeks•     Weight: 6 lbs•     Last born of the litter•     Known as: One of “the twins”•     Coloring: Mostly black with brindle socks•     Build: Tiny with short, stubby legs•     Fully vaccinated•     On heart-worm prevention•     Eating: Science Diet puppy food Personality•     The sweetest little girl•     Very confident despite her tiny size•     Loves to march around like she is the boss•     Curious and loves exploring outside•     Enjoys going for walks•     Loves chewing on bones•     Loves sleeping in a lap•     Very used to being carried around and close to people•     Loves playing with dogs her size•     Does well around bigger calm dogs too Home Life & Training•     Leash trained•     Does well in a crate at night•     Good in her crate during the day as needed•     Mostly potty trained•    ‍‍ Very people-oriented from all the one-on-one care she received•     Used to navigating a home with dogs of different sizesAt about 6 weeks old, as she was weaning, Trisha Yearwood had a rough start. She began losing weight and was not thriving like her siblings. A vet visit revealed an infection, and her foster family had to work hard to help her recover. She was pulled from the litter and kept in a crate right next to her foster at all times, receiving constant care and attention. This tiny girl proved she is a fighter. She pulled through, and although her early struggle left her with a bit of stunted growth, she is healthy now — just extra small. Because she was carried around and cared for so closely during her recovery, she is very comfortable being with people and loves being held, cuddled, and close.Trisha Yearwood may be little, but her personality is mighty. She is sweet, confident, curious, and full of life. Reba may have had a rough start, and this little girl had her own fight too, but she came through it beautifully. Now she is ready for a forever family who will love her tiny body, big spirit, and sweet little heart.
