I’m a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and even though I started out as the runt of my litter, I’ve grown into a chunky, confident little guy! My foster mom has taken me to lots of events, and I’ve met so many people. Everyone wants to hold me — and honestly, I love every second of the attention. She says I’m a very handsome boy… what do you think? I can be a tiny bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, my real personality comes out. I’m sweet, affectionate, and happiest when I’m close to my people. I love chewing on bones, and squeaky toys are my absolute favorite. Treats? Oh, those are amazing — I’m very treat&#226&#128&#145motivated! Playing with other dogs, especially my siblings, is so much fun. Sure, we get into little squabbles sometimes, but that’s just what siblings do. I’m doing well with potty training and will master it quickly with a good schedule. I’m not the biggest fan of that cold white stuff outside, though… so I might need a cozy sweater for winter outings. I am a very sweet boy with a big heart, and I love snuggling, it is one of my favorite things to do with my foster mom or anyone who enjoys a good snuggle, is that you? I live with lots of other dogs, including my three siblings and we all get along great. I love toys, any kind of toy but I really like stuffies, bones, ropes… if I can chew it, I’m a happy pup. I also like to play tug of war with my siblings, sometimes I even let them win. I get super excited to meet new people as I have been invited to some special events and everyone loved me and believe me; I loved all the attention. I’ve been around adults and kids, and I think they are so much fun to play with. I’m working hard on my potty training and doing great when I go out on a schedule. This is Jake, he almost 3 years old. He is male, neutered, with Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper vaccines on board. We adopted him over 3 months ago, and he is a very sweet guy. He is house-trained, and receptive to training. He is playful, loves to cuddle, and just spend time with you. He is friendly, and loves to meet people. When new people come to his home, he may be nervous at first, but after a sniff or a few hello pets, he acts like you were never new. The reason we are rehoming him is because we have an elderly cat. Jake is very prey-driven and cannot be housed with cats, or other smaller animals. Jake has done well with meeting dogs outside, and has made frien, but we can't say for certain if he would be able to live with other dogs. He wants to be friends with them to the point of being overbearing to other dogs. Jake doesn't like to be alone, so someone who works from home or has a farm would be perfect for him. He loves car rides, and I am fine with driving if needed!
