Nugget’s story started with heartbreak when he recently found himself scared and alone at NYC ACC after being surrendered by his previous family through no fault of his own. A young, growing pup with his whole life ahead of him didn’t belong in an overcrowded shelter, so we knew we had to help. Now safe in a loving foster home, Nugget is showing everyone what an incredible dog he truly is. This handsome boy is sweet, friendly, and eager to please. He loves being around people and pups, and greats everyone like an old friend. Nugget is very food motivated, absolutely loves toys, and enjoys being active. He already knows "sit" and "paw" and has so much learning potential because he's a good listener and is eager to please.  Like any young growing dog, Nugget is full of energy and has an incredible zest for life.
