Meet Sam! Sam is a 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Husky mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is full of joyful energy, greeting his friends with wiggly body wiggles, happy tail wags, and plenty of enthusiasm for getting out and exploring.He loves meeting new people and happily soaks up pets and attention wherever he goes. Sam is always ready for an adventure! Whether he`s out on a walk, exploring new sights and smells, or cuddling up beside his favorite person, he`s happiest when he`s spending time with people. One volunteer described him as rubbing against them `like a cat` while enjoying pets on the couch. He takes treats gently and has charmed staff with his sweet, friendly nature. Sam is looking for an active family that can match his zest for life and help him continue learning his manners.If you have a pup already at home, we ask that you bring them to meet Sam to make sure they are a pawfect match!In return, he`ll provide endless entertainment, unconditional love, and plenty of tail wags. Hi! My name is Jocasta. I’m a sweet girl who just wants love, cuddles, and attention. I love spending time outside playing in the yard or going for a nice stroll around the neighborhood. I’m very friendly on the leash and enjoy being with people so much that I don’t want to go back to my kennel—I just want to stay close to you. I’m selective with other dogs and do well with kids, though I’m not sure about cats yet. I’m ready for a loving home where I can get plenty of hugs and affection.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
