Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies and dogs in Newberg, Oregon

If your cat has ever secretly wished for a dog of their own, Hank Roadtrip Teddy might be the answer. Hank is the ultimate cat-loving dog. He does not just tolerate cats—he genuinely enjoys living with them. His foster says he happily shares his water bowl with the cats in the house, which tells you quite a bit about this sweet teddy bear of a dog. Watch Hank Roadtrip Teddy’s video below to see his lovable personality, playful side, and family-friendly charm in action: Hank is affectionate, playful, and has one of those naturally lovable personalities that makes him easy to picture in all kinds of families. He does great with kids, is dog friendly, and lives happily alongside cats. He is a complete teddy bear—sweet, easy to love, and happiest when he gets to be part of whatever his people are doing. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy and easy companionship, making him the kind of dog who can enjoy the fun and then settle in close afterward. Hank is crate trained and is currently learning how to walk on leash. His foster is helping him build those skills, and he is already making progress. He is also a great car rider, which makes his name especially fitting. Hank would love a yard where he can play, but he would also be very happy with a family whose life includes walks, weekend outings, road trips, parks, family visits, and adventures where their dog gets to come along. Picture Hank hopping into the car for a Saturday adventure, spending the day exploring with his family, heading home tired and happy, and then settling in while his cat friends wander over to share the evening. That is the kind of life Hank Roadtrip Teddy seems made for. He is playful enough for the fun, affectionate enough to be your best buddy, social enough to share his world with kids, dogs, and cats, and lovable enough to make himself a very important part of the family. Hank Roadtrip Teddy is ready to find people who want more than just a pet. He is ready to be the dog who comes along for the ride, makes friends with the cats, loves the kids, and becomes part of all those everyday memories that turn into the best ones. Haaland got a very hands-on start to life. This adorable 4-month-old puppy was raised as a bottle baby, so being loved and cared for by people is all he's ever known. His parents are unknown, but Haaland may be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He has a gorgeous, shiny chocolate coat with a distinctive darker ridge running down his back. Haaland is one of those puppies who always seems to be happy. He's constantly smiling, loves other dogs, and grew up surrounded by cats and even tiny kittens. He's a sweet, social, happy boy who is ready to finish growing up with a family of his own. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, social puppy who loves other animals and has been raised around both dogs and cats from the very beginning. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), I always take my dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on preventatives. Haaland is currently too young/small to be neutered. Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ Think you might be a good fit?
