Story
Oh Ramona.... The sweet girl is the sister to Roxy and two male pups that were previously adopted out. Imani was pulled from a rural shelter after being placed on the Code Red List. Needless to say, she walked out and has been living her best life ever since. Imani lives in a foster with other pups and cats and she's done great with all of them. Imani is learning her best manners. She's learning to walk on a leash, working on house training, is crate trained, and is working on her confidence building. She does well with other pups though and is working on sharing. She is an absolute peach and warms up quickly once she knows you. Imani is also learning how to cuddle with best of them. If you're wanting a gorgeous young pup that's going to be on the larger side, Imani could be the one for you. Please let is know by completing an app here: dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form and we'll forward it to her foster pawrent who can answer any additional questions and provide more pictures. ==================================================================================== If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
Joe is a stunning 8 year old black mouth cur mix that is ready to find his forever family❤️ Sweet Joe has a strong desire to be near his people, always. He’s a cuddle bug and loves being where his family is! He is good at being a companion dog, he plays well with puppies & is a protector of his people! He will bark when strangers come to the door but once he knows they’re cool, he will be their new best friend🐾 This handsome boy can be an adventure pup or a couch potato. He loves to go for hikes and runs, but he is also happy cuddling up on a couch with his humans! He likes other dogs, but prefers pup friends with laid-back personalities so he can be the “big dog in the house,” or he would be okay as an only dog! 🐶 Joe has a strong case of FOMO, so he always wants to know what you are doing and where you are going. He likes to follow his people around the house and get into the things they are getting into. He really just wants to be near his humans & doing whatever they’re doing.❤️ Joe needs an adult-only household, or one with older children. Poor buddy is scared of little kids and deserves a home where he doesn’t have to be separated from little ones, and can roam his home as he pleases. He is kennel trained, but doesn’t need to be kept in one because he isn’t destructive & he is house trained! Joe is a good boy that deserves a soft place to land after his family dynamic has changed. If you have an older, established household, please consider adding Joe to your family!🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
Waylon is approximately 5 months old and 40 pounds. He is good with other dogs with proper introductions but can be  a little bit stingy with toys. He likes to run and will counter surfs a little bit and he's not a 100% house broken but we're working on that too. Currently living with 3 other dogs and 4 cats. He wants to play with the cats but being so big it's not feasible. He takes correction and redirects well.. He already knows how to sit and wait for his food and his treats although he can get a little antsy. Waylon likes to sleep in the bed and will follow you from room to room. He's very attached to his person. He is currently teething so he has to be watched.  He is fully vetted including  neuter, microchip, all puppy vaccinations, as well as rabies vaccination. H e would make a great addition to your family.   His adoption fee is $550 and includes his transportation to his new home in PA.  HE IS IN A LOVING FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO HIS NEW HOME ONCE ADOPTED!  New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses  a licensed and registered USDA transport company.     You can apply to adopt here:   http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application22.html   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
PIPER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!    This adorable girl is Piper. She is a stunning 2-year-old, 38lb Black Mouth Cur mix. She was pulled from a shelter back in August, and she was in pitiful shape: underweight and scared! That is NO MORE. Her foster mom has gotten her fattened up and healthy. She has helped build her confidence. Piper is now a well-rounded, wonderful dog.   She is a very energetic dog. She loves running and playing in the yard with her toys and fur siblings. She is house trained and is very good in the house. She is doing good on leash; she pulls a little, but we are working on that! She gets along good with other dogs. Her foster home also has two cats, and she has not bothered them beyond curiosity. She is playful and loves tug of war! She listens and learns easily. She would enjoy outdoor activities with her furever family. This girl gets compliments on her looks and mannerisms everywhere we go! Piper is going to make someone a great dog, no doubt.   She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, all shots including her rabies shot. Her adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Piper up north after she is adopted.  To apply to adopt Piper, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 24, 2024, 8:30 am
