Meet Rocky! 🐾 This adorable 4–5-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix has already proven he’s one tough (and sweet!) little guy. Rocky was found starving at a construction site with his sister, who has since been adopted. Now safe and thriving in his foster home, he’s learning how wonderful life can be when you’re loved and cared for. Rocky is a happy, well-behaved, and social puppy who loves to play in water, tug-of-war with ropes, and a good game of keep-away with his foster friends. He gets along great with other dogs and loves being part of the fun! He’s working hard on potty training, sleeps well through the night, and is very eager to please. You can tell Rocky knows he was saved — he’s grateful, affectionate, and full of love to give. His gentle nature and playful spirit make him a perfect fit for families, active adopters, or anyone looking for a loyal adventure buddy. Name: Penny Age: estimated DOB: 03/01/2025 Breed(as listed on paperwork): Catahoula mix Gender: female Weight: 40lbs Altered:yes Crate Trained:yes Housebroke:yes Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes can be picky with overly submissive dogs Good with cats: unknown Short bio: Penny Pan (named this as she showed up out of nowhere, so we say she came from Neverland) is as loving as they come. Loves to play fetch, frisbee, tug. Loves to cuddle and be snuggled. She absolutely adores children. Her silly side is fun to watch and great for a laugh. She knows sit, down, wait and stay. Incredibly food motivated and very easy to train. She knows to ring door bells when she wants outside, but isn’t 100% house trained. Does well in her crate, and goes right to it when she’s told “let’s get in your crate”. She loves to play with other pups, but can be a little rough at times. She is very fast when she has open room to run. Penny is very expressive and you can read her emotions on her face easily. On the other side, she has had some kind of maltreatment in her past as she ducks and runs if she sees a flip flop, trash bag, or broom/mop.

Name: Amos Age: estimated DOB: 11/19/21 Breed(as listed on paperwork): black mouth cur x Gender: male Weight: 60lbs Altered:yes Crate Trained:yes Housebroke:unknown Good with kids: yes has only been around kids 7+ Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Short bio: Amos came to us in terrible condition. We actually did not expect him to survive, let alone heal to a point of being adoptable. He was in heart failure with extreme fluid retention on intake due to heartworms. He Is now heartworm free and no longer in heart failure but he does have a permanently enlarged heart and he will be on meds for the rest of his life. He Is such a happy guy. He loves everyone and just wants to run and play. He would love someone who enjoys going for walks but also a comfy couch where he can relax too! To schedule a meet and greet please follow the link below and email Info@Countyroadsrescuetx.org He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm treated, on preventatives and microchipped. Adoption fee is $200.
