Story
Meet TrooperLocation: Waco, TXDOB: 2/14/22Trooper is a big goofball with a sweet, loving personality and an average energy level. One of his favorite things is playing with his canine friends—he absolutely loves having another dog around and would thrive in a home with a playful companion. When playtime is over, Trooper is all about cuddles. He loves relaxing on the couch with his people, but he's also respectful of your space. If you're not in the mood to snuggle, he'll happily settle down on the other end of the couch.Trooper is house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, rides well in the car, and is comfortable wearing a muzzle. He's currently living with several medium and large dogs and does very well with them.Trooper also lives with cats. Most of the time he ignores them or gives them a quick sniff, but he can become interested if they suddenly run, so supervision is recommended around cats.He has done wonderfully with children. He currently lives with a 12-year-old boy and has been gentle and affectionate with him. He has also met a 3-month-old baby, whom he politely sniffed and then walked away from, and he did great with 4-year-old twins, happily giving them kisses. Based on his experiences, he would likely do well in a home with respectful children.Trooper's biggest challenge is that he is initially fearful of men. When scared, he may bark, growl, and keep his distance, which can sometimes be mistaken for aggression. However, with slow, patient introductions and time to build trust, he becomes much more comfortable. He is especially affectionate and confident around women.Trooper is a kind, loyal dog who just needs understanding, patience, and a few furry friends by his side. If you're looking for a loving companion with a goofy personality and a big heart, Trooper may be the perfect match. ❤️🐾===============================================================================To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .Note: SRGDRR adopts nationwide and offers transport options to help you find your perfect match! Story
This sweet, timid girl is looking for her forever home! Betty is 1 yr old, about 45 lbs, fully vetted and current on preventatives, great with big dogs (like obsessed with big dogs) but not good with small dogs, and likely not cats either, crate trained, house trained. Betty came from a sad, neglectful situation (with 9 other siblings and a few adults). Dogs help her come out of her shell. She could be an only dog if her human had plenty of time to spend with her. Two of her sisters are in other foster homes and four have been adopted and are THRIVING! Now it's her turn!

Story
Meet Bojangles! 🐾 This cur/shepherd mix is all heart, legs, and energy! He’s neutered, fully vetted, and house trained—but still learning the ropes with his kennel, especially after a few hours. He’d love a home where he doesn’t have to be crated too long or where someone is home more often than not. Bojangles is a curious, clever, and athletic pup who needs a secure, fenced yard to safely explore and burn off his high energy. He’s a total goofball with a playful streak, always ready to chase a toy, bounce around, or charm you with his sweet snuggles. He’s: ✨ Adventurous and always on the lookout for something new 🐶 Friendly with people, dogs and cats 🚗 Great in the car 🍖 Food motivated, which makes training easier 💡 Smart and eager to learn, loves puzzle toys 🛏️ Snuggly and affectionate when it’s time to wind down Bojangles will thrive with an active family who can give him structure, love, and plenty of playtime. He’s a lovable mix of brains, energy, and cuddles just waiting for his people. Could that be you? DOB 1/21/25
