There are puppies that are cute... and then there are puppies that somehow manage to make every single day a little more fun just by being themselves. That's Liza Minnelli. She's the kind of puppy who's always ready to grab a toy, start a game, make you laugh with her goofy antics, and then melt into you for a few cuddles once she's all tuckered out. She has one of those wonderfully happy personalities that's hard to put into words, but incredibly easy to fall in love with. As with any rescue puppy, her exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is she's a Black Mouth Cur and Pittie mix. Whatever combination created her also gave her a beautiful face, a playful spirit, and a personality that's every bit as lovable as it is fun. One of our favorite things about Liza is just how much joy she seems to find in everything. Hand her a toy? Best day ever. Toss it across the room? Even better. She absolutely loves playing, happily entertains herself with toys, and has the kind of cheerful, easygoing disposition that makes her a pleasure to be around. She's the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet affection, always happy to join in on the fun but just as happy soaking up a little love from her people. Like every puppy her age, Liza is still learning all about the world around her. Right now, her days are filled with playtime, naps, mealtime, and discovering something new every day. Each new experience helps build her confidence while she learns what it means to be part of a family. If you ask Pearl Lulubelle what makes for a perfect day, her answer is probably going to be, "Whatever you're doing... as long as we get to hang out together." Want to sleep in and spend the morning cuddled up in bed? She's all in. Feel like going for a walk around the neighborhood or taking a drive with the windows down? That sounds pretty great too. She's one of those dogs that's just easy to have around. Add in her stunning icy blue eyes, the softest bunny-like fur you've ever felt, and the sweetest personality to match, and it's honestly hard not to fall completely in love with her. As with any rescue dog, her exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is she's a Catahoula/Lab mix. Whatever combination created her also gave her the prettiest icy blue eyes, the softest coat imaginable, and a heart that's every bit as beautiful as she is. One of our favorite things about Pearl is just how naturally affectionate she is. Her foster says she'll happily spend the day curled up in bed with you if you'll let her, and honestly, she'd probably consider that a perfect day. She's incredibly sweet, gentle, and has that comforting kind of presence that makes a house instantly feel more like home. She's the type of dog that's happy simply being near her people, whether you're out doing something fun or enjoying a quiet evening together. Pearl has a wonderfully adaptable personality. She enjoys getting out for walks, loves riding in the car, and is always happy to join you for an adventure, but she doesn't need constant entertainment to be happy. She's just as content spending the afternoon relaxing at home as she is getting out to explore. It's such a nice balance and one of the many reasons we think she'll fit beautifully into the right family. Pearl is currently fostered in a multi-dog home with both small dogs and dogs her own size, and she's done wonderfully with all of them. She isn't the type of dog that's going to walk into a room expecting everyone to immediately become her best friend, and honestly... we kind of get it. She's more of a "let's get to know each other first" kind of girl. She appreciates slower introductions and dogs that are polite and respectful of her space. Once she's comfortable, she'll absolutely enjoy playing with the right canine friend, especially a playful but easygoing male dog. We also love how well she reads other dogs. If one of her foster siblings lets her know they're not interested in playing, Pearl simply says, "Okay!" and moves on. No hurt feelings, no pestering... just good manners. Pearl is also currently fostered with a cat and has done wonderfully. She also met our house cat during her assessment and handled herself beautifully there too. She was respectful, calm, and showed us that she has the potential to do very well in a home with feline family members. She's already off to a great start with her training. Pearl is crate trained, fully potty trained, knows how to sit, and absolutely loves treats. She always takes them gently and is eager to please, making continued training something that's both fun and rewarding. She also enjoys playing with toys, although true to her personality, she's gentle with them rather than turning every toy into confetti. The only thing Pearl asks for during mealtime is a little peace and quiet. Think about how much more enjoyable dinner is when nobody is reaching over your plate every five seconds. Pearl feels the same way. She simply prefers to enjoy her breakfast and dinner without curious dog noses checking out what's on the menu. Feeding her in her crate or a separate room is an easy solution and gives everyone a chance to enjoy their meals in peace. Pearl would do best in a home with a fenced backyard in a quieter residential area rather than an apartment. While she settles in nicely once she's comfortable, new places and unexpected loud noises can make her a little unsure at first. Because of that, we think she'd be happiest in a calmer environment where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. Although she hasn't officially been kid tested, we think she'd likely do best with older children, around six years old and up, who understand how to give her a little time to settle into new situations. Pearl is one of those dogs that doesn't need to be the loudest or flashiest to steal your heart. She does it simply by being herself. Shredder is a stunning 7-month-old brindle boy whose proof that sometimes the best really is saved for last. The last of his litter, this handsome pup is what we like to call bomb proof—easygoing, adaptable, and ready to fit into just about any loving home. We think he's a Pittie/Catahoula mix, but whatever his DNA says, 100% of it is good boy. Fostered in a busy home with kids and multiple dogs, Shredder has taken everything in stride. He's incredibly well-mannered for such a young pup and already has all the basics down. He's crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is quickly becoming his foster mom's favorite running partner. If you've been dreaming of a four-legged jogging buddy, Shredder is already lacing up his imaginary sneakers. When he's not out exploring, he's happy to curl up for snuggles or entertain himself with a pile of toys. He has that perfect puppy balance of playful energy and a soft, cuddly side that melts hearts. Shredder has been around dogs of all ages and personalities and gets along wonderfully with everyone—even the grumpy senior dogs who appreciate their personal space.
