Story
Hello! My name is Mocha, and I’m an 11-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback gentleman looking for a loving home where I can enjoy my golden years surrounded by patience, comfort, and care. I may be a little older, but I still have so much love, loyalty, and companionship to give to the right family. I’m a sensitive guy who appreciates a calm and predictable environment. Loud noises can be scary for me, so I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe and relaxed. I would do best with a family who understands my needs and can give me the time and reassurance I need to feel comfortable. I have some special preferences that help me be my happiest self. I need to be fed separately from other animals so I can enjoy my meals peacefully, and I would do best in a home without small children. With the right setup and understanding, I can be a wonderful, devoted companion. At around 55 lbs, I’m a great size for someone looking for a loyal friend to share life’s quieter moments with. I love the idea of having a family who will appreciate me for who I am and give me the love and care I deserve. If you’re looking for a wise, gentle soul with a big heart and a lifetime of love to give, I may be the perfect match for you. I’m ready to find my forever home and spend my days being your loyal companion.Restrictions: no small childrenMedical: I have a resolved hematoma in my left ear. I also have skin allergies that will need ongoing attention and care. A mass was also previously removed from my left knee and appears to be non-cancerous. Your adoption counselor during your look can help clarify any questions you may have. My future family should continue to monitor my health and work with their veterinarian to help me stay comfortable and happy.Weight: ~55 lbsAdoption Fee: $125 + tax
