Story
Hello! Onyx just turned one in March, but don’t fret, Rotts take a full 2yrs to grow up so she’s still got some puppy left in her. She’s super sweet, goofy, and adorable. Speaking of which, don’t let the breed scare you! At four months she taught herself how to hug because she needed the extra love, and she’s scared of spooky sounds in the dark and falling leaves. She is protective though! Everyone she meets is her best friend unless it’s an aggressive stranger walking towards you in the dark. Since she’s young she does have quite a bit of energy, so a yard is preferable. She’s also a little genius and needs mental stimulation, but I’m including all of her puzzle feeders and some basic commands will help. I also can include food, a crate, plenty of slow feeders and toppers. As you can tell, she is very loved. But I am a full time student/server and I’m no longer in relationship so I don’t have the time or finances to make sure she’s cared for properly. Text me for more info! (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Alfalfa has so many meanings. To horse people alfalfa is a rich and green leafy food :) To dog people, Alfalfa, means ME!!! I have not lead the most "leafy" life though. I was recently saved from an extreme hoarding situation. And I am SO grateful to the ladies who have taken over a year to save 65 of the 87 dogs I lived with AND are still working to get more out! I am a little shy when u first meet me, but 5 minutes and I am yours! Look onto my chocolate dreamy eyes, and get that application in! I am waiting..... Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 ( includes transport to your area)

Story
So, as you can see I am a BIG BIG GUY(130#)!!! Like the German Rotties, I have a BIG old HEAD and a propensity to protect my people....... I need just the right home, no other dogs please. I was not socialized with other dogs while growing up and am a big boy and so introducing to other dogs is a challenge for the rescuers and therefore we are looking for a single dog home. I am a very typical rottie and was kept as a protector of the property. I LOVE my people and honestly would love to be a lap dog, lol, but I also need a couple or single who is a strong leader, who really understands my breed and who will assure that I stay safe and others do as well. Now, I have a sweet and loving side, and my friends love that about me ;) But look at my face, without my toothy grin, and you know they understand that I am a serious guy :) I love my peeps and am ready for just the right place. I can only be adopted in TX and HAVE to be met and introduced and spend time with me before the rescue will approve my adoption. So only the strong need apply!! You will get an AMAZING and DEDICATED and EXTREMELY LOYAL DOG! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX only)
