Jack is an extremely smart and trainable dog who has mastered the commands `sit` `paw` `down` `look` `walk` and `through`. He is so eager to learn and please. He would love to continue his training with his new family. He walks well on leash and enjoys playing with tug toys and stuffed animals. He can be shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly and responds well to his handler. He has a calm demeanor with medium energy levels that lend to a quiet household with a fenced-in yard. This sweet and silly one year old is still enjoying the last part of his puppyhood and is sure to entertain you with his antics and goofy grins.Buck walks nicely on leash and already knows “sit!” He is working on learning not to jump on people and is already showing great progress learning that good things (treats!) come when he has four paws on the floor.Buck enjoys playing with other dogs but his large size and rough play style mean he won’t be a match for every dog.Buck is smart and eager to please and will do best in a home with kind and patient guardians who will show him how they want him to behave and reward him when he succeeds. He has a big heart and a sensitive spirit and is sure to be a wonderful friend and companion to the right adopter.

HI - I'M MORGAN, and I'm a large (90-pound-plus) 6-year-old male Rottweiler in need of a forever home. I've been waiting quite awhile for the right person or people to come along. I'm a very loyal Rottie and will be loving and protective to my person. I especially love women though would do fine with the right guy. I'm not fond of farm animals, and I'm also not a fan of some veterinarians. I do have some arthritis, so stairs do not work for me. I'm also bit flat-footed now and then, but nobody will notice. I currently take inexpensive glucosamine dog treats, which help greatly. Rottweiler or big-dog experience is essential! I would do best with a single person or a couple who wants a loyal companion and who has experience with the breed. I would also do best in a quiet home where my person or people are my world. I have done fine with some dogs, but will thrive as the only dog in the home. Please email for an application.

I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle in the evenings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have MANY positive traits - I am affectionate (I love to give hugs once I know you!), I walk well on a leash, and I am a very loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. While I get along with some dogs (especially females), I can be reactive on a leash. I would thrive as an only dog, or at least as an only male dog, as I love human attention and affection and I'd do well with a strong owner, too. I weigh about 80 lbs. While I get along with dogs I know (especially female dogs around my size), I can be reactive on a leash toward dogs I don't know.
