Story
Hi there! My name is Boba and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 3 year old, male, Rottweiler mix who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

Story
Hi my name is Bear! I was rescued from a La Animal services and I am a 2 year old Rottie. I love being outside and playing fetch is my favorite activity. I am also great in the car. I need a family with a nice yard. I would like to continue my training as I am a smart dog and need to be challenged mentally daily. I would do best in a home where I am the only boy dog. I do good on walks and love Women!

Story
Meet Hugo the unique, fluffy, 3-year-old Rottweiler mix! Hugo is a big dog, currently on a diet here at the shelter, who enjoys his walks and zoomies to get his energy out. Due to his size Hugo can be very strong on leash and could use some training to improve his leash manners. His previous owners said that Hugo was good with small dogs, but not a huge fan of larger dogs, especially if they get in his space. Hugo was used to spending the night in his crate and kept it clean but still needs to work on his potty training while out loose in a home. He also lived with cats previously and left the cats alone in the home who would swat at him, though he was interested in chasing cats outside of the house. Hugo is a sweet boy who enjoys head scratches and cuddles once he gets to know you. Call (805)781-4400 to make an appointment or walk in to the shelter during our open kennel hours (M-Sat 1-5, Wed 1-7) to meet Hugo today!

Story
Looking for a big, goofy, ready to enjoy life kind of dog? Stuart is your boy. He is playful, silly, athletic - but not competitive (he's more of a leisure sports kind of dogs - you know, hiking, bike rides, trips to the beach, etc). He is social and friendly with other dogs, but does not need them in his life to be happy. He is still a giant puppy in some ways, but his foster is working on helping him with basic manners. To know this goofball is to love him. He's not perfect, but then again who is?
