Meet Max!Max has been with us for almost a year, and we truly don’t understand why—he is such a good dog and would be a dream to own. Max is an approximately 4-year-old Rottweiler mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He came to us as a stray, and while his previous owners were located, they sadly couldn’t keep him. Since April 2025, Max has been patiently waiting for his forever home.He’s incredibly sweet, easygoing, and full of life. Max has a good amount of energy but can also entertain himself. He does well with other dogs and thrives with confident, sturdy people. He’s also okay with children, as long as they’re sturdy enough to handle his loving lean of affection. Cats are a bit too exciting for Max, so a cat-free home would be best.Max is ready to leave the shelter behind and start his next chapter with a family who will love him as much as he loves them. Mazikeen is such a sweet girl once she warms up to you. She will be your favorite cuddle buddy. She loves going for long walks, dinner time and her daily chewy snacks. Maz could use some training to reach her full potential. Due to her young age, she is still moldable and eager to learn. I never had any intention of rehoming my baby, but recent female-female tension with my other Rottie had led me to this road. Moira is a rescue from the Bakersfield shelter, July 2025. They labeled her as a greyhound/lab mix. Moira is estimated to be 1 year and is 50 pounds. She is a happy pup! She loves people and other dogs. Moira loves to run and play and enjoys chasing the other dogs in foster care. She knows some basic commands “sit” & “paw”. She is crate trained and house trained. She is a little jumpy and needs more training with this. Moira likes taking walks is good with all she meets. Duke is estimated to be three years old. He was rescued from the Solano county shelter in September. He was found as a stray and spent 5 weeks at the shelter before coming to us as a foster. We were hoping he would be a great fit for our family but is reactive on leash and we do not have a yard. He also needs more training than we can provide. He is crate trained and a typical Velcro dobie. He is playful with lots of energy. Would be ideal for him to go to an active home with a yard. No other pets at this time recommended with him. He would do best in a home with someone working from home. He has sensitive skin and digestion. Recommend to keep him on purina pro plan. Comes with crate bowls toys etc.
