Story
Your personal protector and cuddle bug. I am a fiercely loyal, one-person guardian with the heart of a teddy bear. Once bonded, I am a calm, quiet shadow who adores cuddles and thrives on pleasing my trusted owner. I require an experienced human who will provide consistent training, respect my clear boundaries with strangers (no petting), and offer a quiet, dog-free home. In return, I will give unmatched devotion, constant companionship, and dedicated protection. My love is deep, exclusive, and absolutely unwavering. General Socialization Notes: I am a calm and capable companion in social settings when managed properly. I coexist peacefully with visitors as long as I wear my comfortable muzzle (I have been trained to be comfortable, wearing a muzzle in order to provide safety for me and others in situations that might be unpredictable for me) and I am completely ignored—no eye contact or attempts to pet me. Under these conditions, I will relax on my bed or even wander near guests. On walks, I can pass adults calmly even stopping to chat but I need distance from children and other animals. With clear boundaries and an owner who advocates for me, I can be a quiet, well-mannered presence. Does George like other animals? For the most part I do not like other animals. With a proper introduction to another dog, I have been able to get along with them however I need to get to know a dog over a long period of time through a barrier. Does George like children? I'd do best in a home without children. Favorite Toys: I am a beast at tug of war. I absolutely love to show you my strength. I have a protocol where people can hold my rope and say leave it and I’ll sit and then when I hear yes I can go for my rope and tug my heart away. My other favorite toys include large bones and balls. I don’t love fetch but I enjoy tossing my ball in the air and licking it and then acting surprised with I see it flying around. Ideal Forever Home: My perfect home is a quiet, predictable sanctuary with a confident, experienced owner who seeks a deeply bonded protector and companion. I need a home with no other pets, no children (now or in the future), and ideally, land or a large, secure yard where I can roam without constant triggers. My person must be consistent, providing daily structure, training, and advocacy—respecting my boundaries so others do as well. While I can be left alone for a workday, I thrive when sharing a calm, mostly at-home lifestyle with my human. If you are looking for a loyal shadow—a steadfast guardian who will be your devoted, cuddly teddy bear in exchange for your guidance, patience, and exclusive love—then I am waiting for you.

Story
Meet Sabrina! Sabrina is a lively and affectionate Rottweiler mix with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging. With boundless energy and a playful spirit, she’s always ready for an adventure—whether it’s chasing a ball in the backyard or wrestling with her doggy friends. Sabrina does great with other submissive dogs who enjoy active play, but she is not a match for homes with cats. Due to her high energy and not yet knowing her own strength, a home with older kids is preferred. Sabrina has had some basic training and is picking up on commands quickly. She’s intelligent, eager to please, and responds well to structure—making her a great candidate for continued training. Despite her playful energy, she also knows how to settle down in her crate and relax when it’s time to rest. Sabrina is looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow, play, and share her endless affection with her forever family. ##2371491##

Story
Meet Jax, Jax is a blue & tan boy with natural ears and a tail that is knocking the door at 6 years old. He is a super sweet boy and deserves the best life. He is a very smart boy who loves cuddles, is great on a leash, and knows a lot of commands! He's a great running and hiking partner, too! Jax needs to be in a Doberman experienced home with no small children. He will need a home with a 6 ft fence, as he can clear a 3-4 ft fence if he decided to let himself out on a run. Jax is fully vetted and ready for his new forever home. Jax is muzzle trained and in high stress environments like vet offices it would be best for him to wear it in case he gets over stimulated. This boy has had a rough life thus far after running the streets of Mexico to coming here. Jax would be best in a home with another dog to keep his confidence up. He is good with cats and horses also. Jax is a true velcro dog and protective of his tribe once he settles in. We are currently accepting applications for Jax at www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
Meet Ripley! Ripley found herself at a shelter and we are still trying to figure out why. We believe Memphis is her brother as they are the same age of just over 3 years old. Ripley would be best in a home with no other female dogs or small dogs. She would be fine with another male dog as her and her "brother" get along great together. Ripley is a super sweet social girl who's never met a stranger. She would thrive in an active home and not near as velcro as her brother is. She has not been cat tested as of yet. We have no reason to believe she would be bad with children. She truly deserves the best life. To apply to adopt Ripley please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming.
