Story
Age: 1.5 y/oWeight: 61 lbs.Good with Dogs? Yes!Good with Cats? UnknownGood with Kids? UnknownRusty is a 1.5-year-old Rottweiler mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He’s outgoing, friendly, and playful, and he truly loves everyone he meets. Rusty is the kind of dog who greets the world with a wagging tail and contagious enthusiasm. This handsome guy is very dog-friendly and enjoys interacting with other pups. He thrives on playtime, attention, and being part of the action. Rusty walks well on a leash overall, but when he gets excited, he may pull; he’s still working on learning to channel his excitement more politely. With continued training and consistency, he’ll only get better. Rusty would do great in an active home that can keep up with his energy and continue reinforcing good leash manners. He’s eager to learn, loves engagement, and would make an excellent companion for someone looking for a fun, affectionate, and social dog. Interested in adopting? Story
Nezi is a big, sweet girl who loves cheese and peanut butter and knows how to sit and shake for treats. She's active and energetic and, to be honest, she needs to lose a few pounds. Nezi has a history of escape, so she shouldn't be left outside unsupervised. We recommend older kids in her new home and no cats.March 11, 2026, 5:10 pm

Story
Shayla is a dreamboat! She is super sweet, loves to cuddle, and has short bursts of energy where she gets the crazies and runs around the the house. She is discovering toys, but is not destructive. Shayla is very good on walks, both by herself and with the resident dog and she loves to roll in the snow! She is interested in cats and friendly with the resident dog. She is working on potty training - she hasn't had accidents in the house, but will hold it for a long, long time until she feels safe enough to go outdoors. She has no food guarding and is crate trained. She loves to be petted and is so happy to see you when you come home or get up in the morning, she will be your best friend in no time! Shayla is shy with new people and situations but seems curious. She is fearful of new things outdoors. ##2672437##

Story
This is Kane. He had to flee NM after allegedly committing tax fraud, which is tough when you’re a 100-pound Rottweiler with no access to accounting software. He’s laying low now and rebuilding his life one chicken treat at a time. Kane is convinced he’s a lap dog. If you sit down, you’ve agreed to cuddles — it’s legally binding. He’s affectionate, smart, mildly dramatic, and very food motivated. He enjoys short, relaxed walks and exploring at his own pace. Recent X-rays showed severe arthritis in his front elbow from untreated elbow dysplasia (turns out crime doesn’t pay… especially for your joints). He’s currently comfortable, but an orthopedic consult would be a good idea, and he’ll likely need pain management as he ages. It doesn’t slow him down much — he just prefers the “retired mastermind” lifestyle over marathon training. If you’re looking for a big, loving, loyal companion who wants to be your shadow (and your lap dog), Kane is your guy. ##2666755##
