Story
Get to know Adler, a gentle soul with a tender heart. This sweet boy may took a little time to warm up to new human friends, but now that he feels safe and understood, he has blossomed into an affectionate, loving boy. He is the perfect balance of energy - always ready for adventures, but also happy lounging and chilling. Adler is looking for a calm home and would likely do well living with respectful children that understand his needs and boundaries. Adler gets along wonderfully with other dogs, but tends to get along better with female dogs, and is a ball of excitement and play when he is around canine friends. With patience, kindness, and lots of treats Adler is sure to grow into the loving, loyal companion he’s meant to be. Come meet Adler today!

Story
MacKinnon was born on 10/1/24. She is high energy and needs a yard and someone who is strong and can handle her weight. I have a heart issue and when I take her out she pulls me and has caused me to fall. I don't have the physical strength due to my health issues (heart issue) to give her what she needs and it's not fair to her. I want her to be happy. She is known as a Rottle. Rottweiler and Poddle Mix (Standard). She needs a place where she can get all her energy out and we currently live in an apartment. She gets along fine with my other dog but struggles when other dogs come near since I have not been able to fully socialize her. She up to date on shots but needs to be spayed. She is not treat/food motivated, she prefers petting as a reward, however she will take the treat too. I don't want to give her up but she needs and requires more that I can give to her, so I can't be selfish.

Story
- I have a heart condition and will need to be under the care of a cardiologist for life- Meet Zee – A Big Lovebug with a Heart as Warm as Her Cuddles Zee is a 5-year-old Rottweiler weighing 73.6 pounds, and she’s a sweetheart through and through. This beautiful girl is amazing on leash, wonderful with kids, and absolutely lives to make her people happy. But what really makes Zee special is her incredible affection. She’s one of those dogs who doesn’t just love you — she adores you. She’s happiest when she’s close, leaning into you for pets or curling up beside you for a nap. Zee loves to give kisses, and if you let her, she’ll snuggle right on top of you just to be near your heartbeat. She wants nothing more than to be your constant companion and shower you with love. Even everyday things are easy with Zee — she’s great for bath time, gentle, patient, and happy to soak up the extra attention. Her calm yet loving energy makes her the kind of dog who fits beautifully into family life, especially one that appreciates cuddles and companionship. Zee is looking for a forever home where she can share her huge heart, her loyalty, and her endless affection. If you’re searching for a loving, gentle dog who will make you feel cherished every single day, Zee is ready to be your devoted best friend. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
