Story
Coco is the sweetest of girls and is looking for her forever family. She is a little shy and prefers a calm environment. She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Mojo is our beloved Rottweiler, a gentle giant with a heart full of love. He has a sleek black-and-tan coat, soulful eyes, and a playful spirit that lights up our home. Mojo thrives on short walks around the neighborhood, where he trots happily but tires easily, preferring relaxed strolls over long adventures. He’s incredibly food-motivated—snacks are his ultimate reward, making training a breeze. Playful at heart, he loves chasing toys and romping in the yard, always with a wagging tail and goofy grin. Mojo is wonderful with other dogs, greeting them with friendly curiosity and enjoying playdates at the park. He’s fantastic with kids too, patient and affectionate, often snuggling up for cuddles or gently tolerating their hugs. The only exception is cats—he’s not a fan and gets a bit too excited around them. Sadly, our family is preparing to move to Greece, and we’ve learned that Rottweilers are considered a banned or restricted breed. Our family is devastated. Please help us

Story
Hello, I am looking for a home for my almost 2 year old rottweiler he is a really good dog, but unfortunately he just doesn't seem to get a long with my 5 year old he nips at her one of them broke the skin. All of them are related to having an item and her taking it or walking close by. He does not have those issues with me I can take things from him tell him to drop it and he listens and I can take the item and he doesn't have any reaction. My older son also has no issues. Besides these few incidents my 5 year old him can co exist like nothing happened, but I am unable to know what items he will react to its been objects and food that it just doesn't feel safe to have him in our home anymore. Even the smallest nip can cause her big harm. He knows how to sit and give paw. I dont want to see anything bad happen to him because he is a good dog just needs a different environment. On leash he does need a little work with pulling a face harness has worked though and stopped it.

Story
Meet Achilles — your future best friend with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Achilles is a 1-year-old Rottweiler mix who perfectly blends strength, sweetness, and silliness into one irresistible pup. With his soulful eyes and goofy grin, he has a way of making everyone around him smile. He thrives on companionship and would love a family who includes him in daily life — from weekend adventures to quiet nights at home. He’s smart, eager to please, and at a perfect age to continue learning good manners and fun tricks. This sweet, silly boy is looking for a forever home where he can grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining companion, Achilles is ready to steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch). Achilles was found as a stray by our friends at Providence Animal Control Center, therefore, we do not have any information on him with other animals or kids. However, due to his size and energy level, we feel that a home with older kids would be the best fit for Achilles.

Story
Brutus's Story Brutus There’s no pre-heating needed to get this guy to warm up to you! Brutus has a sweet disposition and is friendly and affectionate with people right from the start. He’s easygoing, too – 30 minutes after we met him, he curled up and relaxed on the floor while the humans chatted around him. Rescued after being abandoned behind a restaurant, Brutus is estimated to be two to four years old. He is a good-size boy, weighing about 60 pounds, but is gentle and aware of his size. He takes well to being handled and groomed with a brush. Brutus walks nicely on leash and seems to be good around other dogs, showing interest and keeping calm. We’ll learn and share more as we get to know him better. Better yet, please reach out to us and come meet this sweet boy for yourself! Story
Petty, aka "Max" is a lovable young senior dog looking for a retired or work-at-home human/family to share the rest of his life with. He has been three-legged since aged two, has learned to adapt all his daily activities, and travels very well. After 3 months in foster care, Max has learned to play with other dogs! He still has limitations, but he loves to roll on the ground to gently wrestle with his foster siblings. Daily walking has given him additional strength in his legs. He can climb and run with the best of them. He can still slip if not careful, and he is not a fan of very cold weather. He has to be coaxed out the door or just walked on leash in sleet or cold rain. Temperatures above 50 will get him outdoors in any kind of weather. Max is such a social guy that he prefers to be with his humans or dogs rather than alone. He does not chew on anything but food, and is highly food motivated. He is also very human oriented, but followed the lead of his foster brother when he learned new house rules. He walks extremely well, but pulls on occasion when squirrels or rabbits are nearby. He walks fine with a Gentle Leader, but his gait is hopped, so his owner needs to be someone with good balance. He loves to be outdoors and walk on leash. A medium-sized fenced yard would be an additional bonus for this dog as he is an active and young senior.Having said that, Max would also be a wonderful companion dog and fellow couch potato at night. He seems to be much more Chocolate Lab than Red Doberman, with a strong lab lean, and would love to lie on the couch next to a human. He does not sit on laps, but would love to be on the bed sleeping next to his human. I would not expect him to break that habit easily (although he is trying). Max will also counter-surf if he can get away with it. Having lost his last owner, Max does have some minor anxiety issues over separation, and does not enjoy being crated. He is not destructive, though, and tolerates being confined to a room with music and his foster brother when the humans are gone from the house. He has no toileting issues doing his business outside, and sleeps very well at night. He knows many commands, and will give a bark when someone approaches the house or yard. He infrequently can give off an aura which can intimidate some less secure dogs, but really he is a loving goofball, and has done very well with dogs, kids and toddlers at the local Farmers' Market and adoption events. He loves meeting people! Max would love to have a stable home with an active adult/family to spend his senior years. He is very healthy, loves being groomed, and getting attention, affection, and slow but steady exercise. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Petty's adoption fee is $275. Ollie is a young, active boy who loves to run around with other dogs. He enjoys attention from people. He gets along great with kids too. He would love an active family where ample exercise and mental stimulation will be provided. He wouldn't mind cleaning the floor under a highchair as his full-time job. He is being trained to walk on leash using a gentle leader. He is the best at it and would love to show you how well he does! He has visited our local assisted living center and just wanted to hug all of the residents and staff he met. He wants to please and is a good listener and a very sweet boy.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
