They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 6 year old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms. Bulma is a 3 year old, 70 lb American Bulldog. She is a super happy, very friendly dog. When their mom became too ill to continue to care for Bulma and her brother, she, regrettably, surrendered them to rescue. Bulma is affectionate and energetic. Her foster recommends she be placed in a home where she can get plenty of exercise. Her original human reported that she also had a cat that frequently spent time with the dogs in their yard. Bulma hasn’t been tested with children but we have no reason to think she would be anything other than her sweet, friendly self. She might be a little much for very small children, since she is not bashful about showing love (just like every other Bulldog we’ve ever met). She needs some training to learn her doggy manners and she is very eager to please. She will be tons of fun, laughs, and kisses on day one!
