Story
Aveline is a sweet, people-loving Rottweiler with a heart as big as her cuddles. This gentle girl is a certified cuddle bug who believes there’s no problem in life that can’t be solved by leaning her full weight against someone she loves. She adores meeting new people, offering tail wags, and requesting her favorite pastime—butt scratches, which she accepts with great enthusiasm. Smart and eager to please, Aveline knows her basic commands and is always happy to show them off, especially if affection is the reward. With her soft brown eyes and affectionate nature, she charms everyone she meets. Whether she’s snuggled up beside you or trotting over for attention, Aveline brings warmth, joy, and lots of love wherever she goes.

He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. If you would like to Foster, also please reach out! We supply everything!

Story
Spay/Neuter of dog is scheduled at a vet of our choosing and is part of the adoption fee - date will be on the adoption contract - this is if not already sterilized.   We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. Please only send inquiries to the email in this bio all others will not be answered. Please read the bio before sending questions - we answer all we know about the dog here. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Meet Romeo! I am about 9 months old and weigh 65 lb. I’m a cuddle bug who loves to snuggle just as much as I love to play. I’m relentlessly curious about the world, and even though I’m a big guy, I can be a little intimidated at first—“I’m just a baby,” as my mommy says. But once I warm up, I’m all in for fun and friendship. I get along great with other dogs and bring a big, joyful energy to every moment. What I know and my nice habits: - I listen to basic commands like sit, paw, lay down, and I know to sit and wait when food is placed on the floor. - I’m trainable, eager to learn, and motivated by treats and your praise. - I’m a gentle soul who thrives on human affection and doggy companionship. Ideal home: Romeo would do well in a home with time to nurture his confidence and help him grow into a confident, well-behaved canine citizen. He’s best with families who can offer steady guidance, regular play, and lots of snuggles. With patience and love, Romeo will reward you with loyal companionship and endless heart. Romeo's adoption fee is $500 - obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required.
