Once she builds trust, she loves staying close to her person and will place her paw on your arm when she wants more affection.Mazy is fearful of new people and may only approach for a quick sniff at first. She can also be startled by noises on walks but stays right beside or behind me. She has done well with calm dogs, is frightened by barking dogs, and is comfortable around cats. Though she was likely never house-trained, she has been mostly accident-free after only two weeks.Her cautious demeanor suggests possible mistreatment, so she needs a patient, loving home where she can adjust and build trust at her own pace. She has loved the backyard and running around along with the neighbor's dog. I hope to place her directly into a home because a kennel could be traumatic for her. I travel frequently and cannot give Mazy the consistent attention she deserves.
