Archer came to us from another shelter, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that he’s a friendly, happy guy who is ready to start his next chapter. Archer is currently working on his foundation training and is showing lots of potential. He is social, enjoys being around people, and accepts handling very well. He does not appear shy or fearful and has been comfortable around other dogs. He loves treats, which will be a big help as he continues learning his manners. This handsome boy is full of energy and would thrive with an active, outdoorsy family or a home with a large yard where he can run and play. He had a blast exploring playground equipment in the yard and is always ready for the next adventure. Archer is still working on some basics, so continued training will be important. A harness is strongly recommended to help manage his strength and enthusiasm. Because of his high energy, he may not be the best fit for a home with small children just yet. He appears to be housebroken and is eager to learn with the right guidance, structure, and consistency.
