Story
Meet Posey 🌸🐾 Posey is a 4-month-old Rottweiler mix with beautiful black and tan markings and the sweetest, most gentle expression. At about 30 pounds now, she’s expected to reach 65–75 pounds full grown. This lovely girl has been raised in a caring home, and her friendly, social personality truly shines. Posey does great with people and kids, and she enjoys getting out to explore new places just as much as she loves soaking up attention and affection. Posey is playful and enjoys her toys, but she also has a softer, snuggly side. She’s the kind of pup who will happily curl up next to you after a day of adventures, making her a wonderful balance of fun and companionship. She’s looking for a family who will continue to nurture her social nature, provide guidance and structure, and help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. If you are interested in adopting Posey, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog Applications can take anywhere from 5–7 business days to complete. Name: OliveBreed: Rottweiler/Lab mixSex/Age/Weight: Female/ estimated DOB 03/2023 / 60 lbs Vetting: Fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Is receiving flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention monthlyHouse trained/Crate Trained: she does very well left loose in the house. There are no accidents since learning the doggy door. She is excellent in a crate. She has slept in a crate, with no issues. She now sleeps loose in my bedroom.Dogs/Cats/Children: Good with other dogs of all sizes, She needs a proper introduction. She hasn't been around cats. She absolutely loves to play. She loves water, sits in her pool when it was really hot this summer. The only issue is that she jumps when overexcited. Energy Level: Moderately high – Olive is a typical teenage pup. She absolutely needs space to run and play in. She would love a fur brother or sister. Before FAR/My History: I came up on my foster mom and dad one evening at their house. They had a lot of dogs and I was looking for some friends. They tried to find my family but no one came forward. They did promise me they would find me a great family of my own.Training Status/Commands I know: I know my name and respond and come when called. I absolutely love to run and play.Working on: We are working on walking on a leash and using a prong collar confidently and not jump. She knows sit, stay.Things I like: Playing with any sort of toys! LOVES playing with other dogs. Things I don’t like: Not enough play time.Things that make my humans happy: When I get a lot of playtime and I am all tuckered out, snuggling with my foster mom! She seems to just love and want to be around people all the time!Ideal Family/Home: Olive is a moderately energetic and playful girl so she would do great with an active family with a fenced yard who understands this and is willing to work with her and give her the time she needs to run and play as well as training to help her be her best self. A home with other dogs would be ideal because he absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs.If you are interested in giving Olive a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Meet Moose! Moose is a young adult mixed breed boy weighing just 22 lbs. We aren’t completely sure what his breed mix is... maybe American Bully, maybe Pocket Rottie, maybe a little bit of everything adorable rolled into one compact package! Moose was found wandering the streets with his sister and sadly appears to have been abandoned. Despite that, he remains a sweet and hopeful boy who is ready to find a loving forever home. He is dog friendly and curious with cats, but not aggressive!!! He enjoys human attention and would love a home where he can finally feel safe and loved. Moose is currently sitting in animal control and would greatly benefit from getting into a foster or adoptive home quickly. Shelter life is stressful for dogs, especially affectionate young dogs like Moose who deserve stability and comfort. If you are looking for a smaller companion with a loving personality and a resilient spirit, Moose may be your perfect match. Apply to foster or adopt today and help give Moose the fresh start she deserves. To foster: www.jaspercohumanesociety.org/foster To Adopt: www.jaspercohumanesociety.org/adopt Adoption Fee: $150
