Story
Daisy is ready for her next chapter! -3 years old (est.) -62 pounds -Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped -Very dog friendly -Potty trained -Shy, derpy, goofy, innocent, playful, preciously sweet and lovely PERSONALITY: Daisy is such a beautifully innocent soul. Though very very shy at first, there is not a mean bone in her body. She is goofy and derpy like a boxer when she warms up. She is true innocent bliss mixed with derpy goofball. Daisy just needs someone to give her grace and a little time to settle in, warm up so they can see her true beautiful personality too. FAV THINGS: Daisy enjoys playing with dogs, collecting nylabones in her dog bed (she's topped out at around 20), stealing slippers or shoes if the opportunity presents (oopsies- she's learning), seeking gentle affection from her people, and playing with her people in the yard. DOGS: Daisy best thrives with another dog in the home. She really, really enjoys their companionship and comfort, and follows their lead for confidence. She also *loves* playing with other playful dogs. She has done beautifully with every dog she has met from dominant/alpha female type, to submissive playful, from a 14lb dog to a 70lb dog. CATS: Unknown. Daisy has not met cats, besides out free with ferals cats at the gym when she was living there. If we were a betting man..... we'd probably bet a kitty swat would send Daisy running for the hills. That is 0% tried and tested. She has NO cat experiences to speak on with us. Daisy is just so uber submissive, absolutely zero observed prey drive, and liable to be afraid of her own shadow we just cant see her not being put in her place by a cat. The only way to know though is slow and proper intros over time living with them. KIDS: No kid experience, though probably best only older kids as she is so shy at first and such a flight risk. TRAINING: Potty trained HISTORY: Daisy lived in the parking lot of a gym from around March 2025 until capture January 2026. Everyone cared for her and loved her, she was basically the gym mascot its just that no one could catch her. No owner ever came forward and her history prior to the gym remains a mystery. NOTE: Daisy will be a FLIGHT RISK starting off. Daisy avoided capture for several months and it is not likely she could be caught again if she escaped. Basic precautionary measures must be taken to ensure she stays safe e.g. not leaving unattended in a yard, watching doors/gates, etc. Simple things that are the difference sometimes in a pet going missing or not. LOCATION: Currently in foster in Jackson, GA. We do a home check with all fosters/adopters, so no need to travel, we will come to you within 2 hours. AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). FTA is a 2 week commitment-free trial run to make sure things are a fit before sealing the deal and officially adopting. ADOPTION FEE: $150 APPLY TO ADOPT: joyspromise.org/adopt P.S.- If you aren't looking to adopt right now, but still want to help, consider fostering Daisy! Fostering Daisy would expand her socialization and exposure, which would be greatly beneficial to her at this point. Foster: joyspromise.org/foster -- Note: If you are interested in adopting, please COMPLETE AN APPLICATION THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. Inquiries on adoption sites is not an application. Your inquiry will not be seen until you complete an actual application at joyspromise.org/adopt

Story
Diamond's previous owner had to move and was unable to take her along.  As a result, she was surrendered to BCAS. She is around 2, potty trained and crate trained. She likes to fetch and play tug-of-war and play with her toys. She loves other dogs and kids but has a high prey drive which makes her unsuitable for a home with cats. She plays gently the other dogs in her foster's home and is also a gentle eater. She is very affectionate and loves snuggling. Everyone comments on her exceptionally soft coat and her foster parents love that she doesn't shed. They also say she doesn't snore and sleeps soundly all night. She's not a fence-climber or a digger. She knows basic commands.  She is trained to chew approriately (meaning she loves to chew, but only chews her toys.) She is accustomed to being on the couch and beds in her foster home. She is UTD on shots, spayed and heartworm negative, and is looking for her new family!  If you'd like to meet her, please fill out an adoption application for "Diamond" online at buttsmutts.com.  ##2608948##

Name: Hershey aka KainBreed: Pit Bull Terrier MixSex/DOB/Weight: Male / DOB 12/07/2022 / 70lbs but is working on slimming downVetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventatives House trained/Crate Trained: Yes/YesDogs/Cats/Children: Loves to play with dogs of similar size/energy level and does well with supervised play around cats. Can be tested with children upon request.Energy Level: Medium Before FAR/My History: I was adopted out as a FAR puppy, but through no fault of my own I was returned in September 2025. Training Status/Commands I know: Sit, Touch the open hand to get a treat/food instead of leaping for the foodWorking on: Everything, I am trying to learn a lot in my foster home.Things I like: Playtime and human interaction! I love to be with my human to do anything, and I love playing with my foster siblings. Things I don’t like: I don’t like to be left out. I loved my former owners and spent a lot of time with them, so transitioning to foster care has made me anxious when my human leaves.Things that make my humans happy: My affectionate personality. I love to love on my humans and I love to be loved on. Ideal Family/Home: I would do best with an owner who could spend a lot of time with me. I did not have canine siblings at my former home, but I am thriving with my foster siblings so another dog in the home would be ideal.
