Meet Bella. Bella is a 7 year-old Rottweiler mix looking for a new home after her owner passed. She is very affectionate and bonds deeply with her person, but she needs an experienced dog owner who can provide structure, patience, and a calm environment. She can be sensitive and reactive at times, so she would do best in a quiet, adult-only home without a lot of activity. With consistency and time, she becomes an incredibly loyal, sweet, and snuggly companion. Bella wants nothing more to be with an owner who walks her regularly (her favorite) and will let her be close to you in the house. She will follow you everywhere. She was professionally trained, and before her original owner got sick, she was extremely well behaved and easily teachable. If you or someone you know might be a fit, please reach out.

He was rescued from an abandoned property after living on a balcony for years with an owner known for neglect. After that, he spent two more years in the shelter system on court hold. Val is a breeder surrender. Her feet are deformed. See photos. She will likely not live a full life due to her deformities. The bones in her feet are floating. She is basically walking on her femur bones. We cant predict when her time will come, but she still deserves a home and a family until then.

Story
Bennett is a dog that has come back to our rescue through no fault of his own. We originally pulled him from Newton County Animal Control in 5/2024, a day before he was going to be put down. He stayed at our rescue till 11/2024 when he got adopted. Due to financial difficulties with the adopters he has returned to our rescue and is looking for his forever home again. He is now about 3 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Bennett's a happy, fun loving dog! He has had play dates with our doctor's dog and they got along great. One of our vet techs took him on a run with her and he ran well right along side her. He enjoys going on walks and is calm in his kennel and doesn't get bothered with dogs barking around him. He loves a good stuffed animal to throw around the yard and carry in his mouth. But he can be cuddly too and will rest his head against your shoulder when you go in his kennel with him. He is located at Ross Animal Hospital, Covington GA.
