Story
Say hello to Dibow, a big-hearted Rottweiler with an even bigger love for snuggles. This handsome guy is the ultimate cuddle companion—he’ll happily curl up on you and soak up all the pets you can give. With his calm, loving temperament, Dibow is truly a gentle soul. At home, Dibow is as laid-back as they come. He’s not one to cause a fuss—unless someone’s walking by the house, and then he’ll give a bark to let you know. He is curious about other dog companions, but would do best with a slow introduction, to make sure everyone feels comfy before hanging out! Dibow’s got a few adorable quirks too—he tries to howl (emphasis on “tries,” which makes it even cuter), and when he flashes his charming smile, it looks like he’s missing a tooth. It’s the kind of goofy grin that’ll brighten your day instantly. What should his future family know? Dibow is incredibly loyal, eager to please, and totally treat-motivated. He just wants to make you happy—and get a snack or two along the way. If you’re ready for a loving, low-key, and totally lovable Rottweiler to complete your family, Dibow is your guy. Come meet him and get ready to fall in love! Adoption fee is $450 plus tax. Apply for this sweet big fella at campcompanion.org

Story
My name is Barbosa and I’m not sure why everyone says I’m so big. I don’t think I am. I can climb into your lap and snuggle against you like a little dog. Plus, being taller means you don’t have to bend over to pet me. There’s just 95 pounds of me to love! I was raised by people who loved me, so I’m still a little confused as to my current situation and need some reassurance. Being petted helps and I feel better if I can see you at all times. Consider me your shadow. But it does mean that I’m completely housebroken, have inside manners (I can easily reach the countertop, but don’t countersurf), like to be brushed and know some commands like “sit and down”.I am a goofy boy who likes to run and chase my smaller foster sibling and play with toys. But when I need a breather, I flop on the floor like a frog or a bearskin rug. I’m not sure I understand this concept of “personal space”, but I guarantee you’ll never have to be in the bathroom alone again! There are no small children in my foster home, but I think I’d like them, though I might accidentally knock them over. I have not shown a strong prey drive, so cats might be okay, too. I don’t need a fenced yard, but could use some help working off a few pounds. I love walks, but need some practice so I stop pulling on the leash. I’m open to learning, if it means more walk time with you!I know that my forever family is out there looking for a BIG baby and I’m ready to be your devoted companion forever!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. Story
Hi there, my name is Stormy! I am a really sweet dog that loves to pick a human and become their best friend. My favorite way to spend time is hanging out with my humans, whether that is chilling on the couch, playing fetch or hanging out in the backyard to sunbathe. Since I am very smart, I have learned basic obedience, and quickly pick-up new tricks. My great behavior extends to home manners - no accidents in the house for me - and my crate is a safe space for me and I can hang out there comfortably when my humans are home or away. Because of my love for a good nap, I have mastered the art of road-tripping and do well in new places as long as my crate comes with. I can be shy when meeting new people and sometimes struggle with tall friends or people in hats. Once you get to know me, I will happily bring all 50 lbs of me up for some lap dog cuddles. Although I get along well with human friends, I don’t get along with other animals as I am not good with sharing toys. Because of this I would love a home with no other pets and prefer older children who are more predictable for me. If you are looking for a new best friend to work into your chill family routine, I am definitely your girl!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Daniela: Future Boss of the House! About Daniela Daniela is the perfect mix of small size, big heart, and a massive personality. She is charming, sassy, and full of pure wiggle-butt enthusiasm! Daniela is happy and safe in her foster home, but she would honestly prefer not to have to compete the resident dogs for attention anymore. Personality & Quirks Daniela's presence fills the entire room—and she will absolutely bully you into giving her the attention she deserves! She has an endless supply of love and antics to share, along with a relentless dedication to making sure you don't forget about her. The Wiggle-Butt Welcome: Expect a full-body wag every time you walk through the door, or really anytime Daniela hasn't seen you for longer than 10 seconds. Her enthusiasm for her humans is absolutely unmatched! Snack Time Focus: When it's snack time, Daniela gives her full attention to a good chew toy or a peanut butter Kong. The Sweet Snoozer: Once she has had enough activity and attention, she will snooze and snore anywhere that is cozy. She will gladly go into her kennel, as long as it is comfy and comes with a treat. Training & Home Manners Daniela has been working hard on her manners in her foster home. She thrives on routine, positive reinforcement, and structure (mostly to remind her that you actually own the house). Accidents in the house have never been an issue—Daniela is far too much of a Queen to violate that particular code. The Ideal Home Daniela would do wonderfully in a home that wants a dog with a big personality to be the absolute center of their world. She’s looking for a family that will continue to guide her with love, keep her active, and doesn't mind being affectionately bullied into on-demand playing and petting. Are you ready to welcome this sassy and hilariously demanding girl into your life?Click here to watch a video of Daniela.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 21, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Miss Sammy. I was a sidekick for a truck driver since I was 6 weeks old. Then I could not easily get in the truck and my dad's new company said I could not ride with him any longer. The transition has been confusing to me after I made a long road trip from Ohio to MN where I met my foster family. I would bark at the door and outside. My foster mom thinks I was hoping my family would hear and find me. But I have lots of love in my heart and have opened it up to my foster family. I follow my foster Mom around like a Velcro dog. My favorite pastime is when the kids play with me. They squeak my toys and crinkle the paper inside. I get so excited when they do this. Sometimes I even bark at them to ask them to play. I have a white face but don't let that fool you. I still have bursts of energy. My foster kiddo discovered I fetch the ball one day. I love to bring it back. But when the foster dog jumped in front of me and grabbed the ball I got pretty upset. He is bigger than me so I feel like I have to let him know who is boss. It would not be a good idea to play fetch with another dog present. I growl at him through the baby gate when we eat our food so I food guard, as well. Otherwise, I am chill around him and we get along. I am 60-65lbs and I look so tiny. But I am pretty solid. I have not asked to jump on the couch, but I did whine a little to get on the bed. However, I am fine sleeping on my dog pillow next to my foster parents' bed. I fuss a little bit when put in the kennel, but then I calm down and nap. I do not pull on a leash. I do bark at other dogs. When I am riding in the car, I bark at anything that moves. My foster mom does not know if I am doing it out of anxiety from the move or if this is typical of me. But I am an all-around great dog. I am trained and my foster mom says I am easy to have around. If you have stairs in your home my foster mom wants you to know I am a little slow going up steps, but the vet did not find arthritis. He did say I need to lose 5lbs, otherwise, I am healthy. He said with my cute personality I will go fast. If you are looking for a pretrained smart, playful, but also calm companion I am the one for you. I will melt your heart with my soulful gaze, when I am trying to tell you something. And I am pretty vocal once I know you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Marie Splettstoeszer for more information about this pet. Hi, everyone. My name is Zoey. In my former life I was a mommy. That's what I did. I had puppies.... Now I don't need to do that anymore! My foster mommy says I'm the bestest girl. I go outside to go potty. Not sure why she thinks that's so great it's what I do. I like to go in the same area which she also thinks is great. I'm wondering what's wrong with her, she always to one place too! Anyways, here's a little bit more about me: I'm okay in a kennel, but would prefer to always be with you. I don't like being left all alone, but I know you'll come back. And when you do man do I wiggle, like crazy. My foster mom says I'm the cutest girl ever. Doorways can be a little scary, but I'm quickly getting used to them. My foster, mom says, I must have been in a house before as most things don't scare me. I was like well duh, I know what the kitchen is. That's where all the good food comes from! I beg & you will not be able to resist me. I'm more comfortable around women than men, but I quickly warm up to men when they respect me. There are no other dogs here, so my foster mom does not know how I behave around other dogs, but she thinks that I wouldn't mind having a companion. I also like to catch flies and there's a bunny hopping around here that I'm interested in. Maybe I can catch it! From Zoey's foster mom: This little girl is dang near perfect. She is so polite, so stunning, has the best personality. Seems to be a real quick learner. For sure loves her treats! Rides well in a car, will just settle down and sleep. If you're looking for a girl that will seamlessly fit into your lifestyle, I think this is the one. I don't have any cats or other dogs here, so I don't know how she is around them. But since she liked the bunny, I’m thinking she might want to chase cats. She also does pretty well on a leash.
