Story
All Hail Queen Rumi! This bounding Queen-in-Training loves life with her foster pack, spending her days alternating between playing with her doggie foster sisters, and napping on her foster mama's lap. She is a super smart girl, picking up on pack mentality as well as notifying her humans with a small bark when she needs to go outside, or when her foster sisters need to come inside. She is very close to being house trained and she sleeps through the night without a single peep. As much as she loves pack life, she is perfectly content playing with her toys by herself. She will “ask” to sit on your lap and loves cuddles. Rumi is an amazing puppy that will grow into a soft hearted adult, and the only thing softer than her heart is her fuzzy-wuzzy fur! Does she sound like your new bestie? Yes?! Then apply now at www.blazintrailsbottlebabies.org/adopt/

Story
Rafe is a mixed-breed puppy who has already overcome a big beginning. Found without his mama at just one day old, he was bottle-fed and lovingly raised in rescue care. Today, he’s a happy, confident little guy and is expected to grow into a medium to large adult. Rafe was a little concerned with the recent snowfall, making some serious puppy eyes at his foster mama - SO CUTE (check out his photos!) At home, Rafe is playful, curious, and social. He enjoys exploring his world, playing with toys, and engaging with people. Being hand-raised has made him very comfortable with human interaction, and he’s the type of puppy who likes to be involved in whatever is happening around him. His energy level is typical for a growing puppy—active and fun, with plenty of time needed for rest, routine, and structure. Like all young puppies, Rafe is still learning. He is beginning age-appropriate crate exposure and early potty habits, and his future family should be ready to continue positive-reinforcement training, socialization, and guidance as he grows. Rafe would do well in a home that’s prepared for a medium-to-large dog and excited to invest in raising a well-rounded companion. If you’re ready to give a puppy with a strong start and a bright future a loving home, Rafe is ready to meet you.

Story
Rusty is a mixed-breed puppy who has never let his early challenges slow him down. Orphaned at just one day old, he was bottle-fed and raised in rescue, growing into a confident, social, and affectionate little guy. He is expected to become a medium-to-large adult. Rusty brings the fun wherever he goes. He’s playful, silly, and loves engaging with toys, people, and his surroundings. He enjoys active play but also happily settles in for attention and snuggles once he’s worn himself out. Being hand-raised has made him very comfortable with people, and he thrives on interaction and enrichment. Rusty is still very much a puppy and will need continued guidance as he grows. He is starting age-appropriate crate exposure and potty routines, and his adopter should be ready for ongoing training, structure, and socialization. He would do best in a home that enjoys an active, engaging puppy and is prepared for the commitment of a medium-to-large dog. If you’re ready for a joyful companion who will keep you smiling as he grows, Rusty would love to meet you.

Story
Rex is an excellent dog. He is affectionate and very good with kids. He is almost 2years old. He has only been around one other dog but they got along very well. Rex does jump up on people I am not going to lie about that I never trained him not to. He is very high energy. I am rehoming Rex because we don’t have a fenced in backyard and we don’t have the time to show him the love and care that he deserves.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Abby is a 4-year-old, 65-lb Rottweiler with a loving and confident personality. She’s friendly and adores attention, especially belly rubs, and thrives when she has time to spend with her people. Abby has a moderate energy level—she loves carrying her Jolly Ball, chewing on Kongs, and enjoys daily walks. She can pull on leash at first but settles with proper exercise or longer walks. Abby is housebroken, crate trained, and mat/place trained, and is comfortable being alone for 4–5 hours during the day. She also does very well on long trips and during hotel stays, making her a great travel companion. While she is dog selective and takes time to warm up to new canine friends (she prefers low-energy dogs), she can do well in a home with a patient introduction process—or as the only dog. She hasn’t been around cats and does best with older children. Abby’s ideal home includes a fenced yard for safe play and enrichment, and an experienced adopter who will spend quality time training, playing nose work games, or just relaxing together. She’s confident, loves attention, and would make a devoted lap dog for the right person. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate, and confident Rottweiler who’s ready to share love, fun, and adventures, Abby could be your perfect match! Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants ideally should  live no further than one hour from Cary NC.  For the right match for Abby, we will consider applicants who live further away if they are willing to travel to Cary to meet her.    INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ABBY? Story
Billie is a gorgeous spayed female Rottie mix. Standoffish, she bonds to one person, maybe two, so would be best in a home with just a single person or a couple. We do not recommend children with Billie, because of both her size and her 'owner attachment'. Billie is current on vaccinations, heartworm test is pending, house trained, but resists putting on a lead. She also loves car rides and running. ##1413503##
