Meet Zeus, who comes to us from the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. Zeus is an approximately 6-year-old, 73 lb., neutered and heartworm negative Rottweiler mix. He is current on all of his vaccines. This boy is super sweet, well-behaved, knows his basic commands (he even knows shake), and is kid and dog friendly. He also rides excellent in a car and walks great on a leash. Because of this my foster mom says I can only go to an experienced Rottweiler home. She says I am definitely not the gal for a first time Rottweiler owner. Now that we got that out of the way let me tell you a little bit about me. I absolutely LOVE TO PLAY, I love my toys, especially my ball and Kong, so I will definitely need some of those in my new home. I am friendly with people and I have been fine with the few dogs that I have been introduced to at the rescue. If you have another dog, we will need to do a meet and greet with proper introductions and see how it goes. No cats for me though. Now I know my foster mom already told you I love my toys, sometimes though I don’t like to share them, but once I trust you well then that’s a whole different story so…. If you have patience, and lots of toys I will probably trade you my toy for yours! I am housebroken, crate trained, spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. Sam is an energetic big boy that thinks he is a lap dog. He has never met a stranger and his bark is certainly bigger than his bite. He is a lover boy. He has never bitten anyone, we have another dog and cat which he is great with. Sam has been around numerous children and adults with zero problems. Sam would do best with a large fenced area to run and someone who is energetic, he LOVES walks, but will pull because he is so excited. He sleeps in a crate at night and lives for treats and his toys.

Charlie is a very sweet and social boy, he loves to cuddle and sit beside you on the sofa. He is house broken and sleeps through the whole night. He prefers to be indoors but does enjoy the walk outside. He is 65lbs and gentle. He is fully vaccinated and is on heart worm pills. He is 9 years old and never been aggressive He lost an eye several years ago from being hit by a car. He needs a new home because his owner passed away last week. We are unable to keep him.
