Story
Molly wants to be your best friend! She’ll charge right up and ounce on you, so get ready. She will playfully wrestle you on the ground , make sure to wear the right clothes for it. While she charges strongly out of confinement, she wears out quickly on account of her extra weight and heavy coat. Some more activity is exactly what she needs to slim down and get some stamina back. Another thing you’ll love is her affectionate nature. Bring on the hugs and pets! You’ll need lots of lint rolling and brushing to clear the shed hair but that’s ok because she loves attention. Finally, you should watch her around other dogs. She often uses her size and weight to control and bully other dogs, except she does well with her buddy scooter, who came to the shelter with her. If you wanted to take two of our dogs home together, this pair is recommended. Otherwise, Molly may do better as the only dog or with another big dog who can handle her dominance. Don’t let that discourage you, as Molly is super fun and entertaining. You’ll really enjoy her! All animal adoptions are typically $80. Story
Meet Ruby! 🐾 Ruby is a gorgeous 2-year-old mix (our vet guesses Rottweiler, Lab, and maybe something else special!) who weighs about 82 pounds. She’s now fully vaccinated, healthy, and ready for her forever home. Ruby is a gentle girl who loves people. She’s very well behaved, not destructive, and already potty trained. She sleeps through the night like a champ and knows some basic commands, including “sit” and “shake.” Ruby enjoys her walks and does well on leash, though she sometimes gets excited when she sees new people because she just wants to say hello. She’ll need some continued socialization and confidence building, but she’s eager to learn. For now she goes on walks when it's quiet and calm, either at night or early in the morning. Her favorite things? Snuggling close, soaking up attention, and chasing after tennis balls! 🎾 At this time, Ruby would do best as the only dog in the home, but with training and patience, she may learn to enjoy canine friends in the future. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will happily be your cuddle buddy and playmate, Ruby is your girl! ❤️

Story
Apollo is a 3-year-old pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I acquired him from a breeder when he was just a puppy, and he has been full of energy, love, and loyalty ever since. He enjoys attention, playing, being around people, and has always been the type of dog that wants to be part of whatever is going on. Apollo would do best in a home where he can get plenty of love, patience, and time. He is affectionate, smart, playful, and protective, but he also has a sweet side and enjoys relaxing with his people. He would thrive with someone who can give him a stable environment and continue helping him be the best dog he can be. Apollo is truly a good dog that deserves a great home with someone who will love him as much as he loves his people.

Kim brings a lot of joy wherever she goes and has the kind of energy that keeps life fun. When playtime is over, she’s just as happy to relax nearby and enjoy being part of the family.
