Story
Hi, I’m Hulk, an 87-pound Rottie mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m two years old, affectionate, confident, and loyal to my people. I love kids and enjoy soaking up attention. I’m playful with toys, curious about the world around me, and very treat motivated, which makes learning fun for both of us. I can be selective with other dogs and would do best in a home without cats. I’m house trained, well behaved, and independent, but I still love being close to my family. If you’re looking for a strong, devoted companion who will stick by your side and keep you smiling, I’m your guy.

Story
Amara is a 1.5-year-old sweetheart who came to us scared, shut down, and unsure of the world. After a couple of weeks of patience, kindness, and safety, this beautiful girl is finally beginning to blossom — and she is so ready for her new life. Now cleared for adoption, Amara is showing us what a truly special dog she is. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is gentle and patient with children. Her calm energy makes her easy to love, and her soft, soulful eyes say everything she can’t. She’s well-mannered on a leash, doesn’t jump on people, and keeps her kennel clean and dry. Amara is the kind of dog who wants to be close, wants to be loved, and wants to trust — she’s just waiting for the right family to show her what forever feels like. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady, affectionate young dog who will bloom even more in a loving home, Amara may be the perfect match. Note: Adoption Policy: Montague County Animal Rescue typically does not adopt dogs to homes where they will live primarily outdoors. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors. Exceptions may be made for specific breeds or unique circumstances where an outdoor environment is appropriate and secure. If you’d like to meet her or learn more: Montague County Animal Rescue Call or text 469-951-0215 Message us anytime.

Story
Five puppies found dumped on the countryside a day before the freeze. They were young, scared, and needed safety. They were around 8 weeks old. Guessing they may be Rottie mixes based on paws and fur. Playful, adorable and sweet puppies. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
