Story
Coming soon! Twix lived as a stray for the first 5 months of his life. Because of that, he is very undersocialized and learned to be protective of his sisters. He is a sweet pup with a tough exterior who just needs patience and a chance to learn that people aren't so bad. He is currently working on his socialization and we can't get wait to see his sweet self start to shine through. ##2637355##

Story
Hi, I’m Lyra… a 4-month-old Rottie mix with a big heart and about 25 pounds of growing puppy love. I’m sweet, playful, and love being around people. I’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. I get along great with other dogs and kids, and I’m always curious about the world around me. I’m already learning “sit” and I’m very treat motivated, so training with me is going to be fun and rewarding. I’m still a puppy, so I’ll need a little guidance (especially with leash training), but I’m confident, gentle, and eager to learn. I’d do best in a home ready for some playful energy, lots of love, and a few treats along the way. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick who will grow up right by your side… I just might be your girl.

Story
Athena is a 4‑year‑old dog who is both house‑trained and crate‑trained. She is treat‑motivated and knows several commands, including sit, lay down, and stay. She can be territorial with her toys and collar, and she tends to pull ahead on the leash. Athena completed an extensive obedience training program that improved many behaviors, though she may still snap on occasion. With continued structure, these behaviors can keep improving, but we are unable to maintain the level of training she needs. She has never bitten anyone or any dog.Athena is very protective of her family and can become reactive during vet visits. As a COVID‑era dog, she has had limited socialization. She is energetic, curious, and thrives with space, activity, and patience. We can no longer provide the time and engagement she deserves, and we hope to find her a loving home where she can continue to grow and feel supported.

Story
Dexter is shy guy, but he's very sweet! He is great with people and does well with other dogs. He has never growled or snapped at anyone, but he is not really a fan of children or cats. His favorite things are running around and being pet. He also loves car rides and even tolerates baths well!. He also wants you to know he's great on the leash so daily strolls are A-OK with him! Since Dexter is a bit of an introvert, he does get a little nervous so he'll just need someone who will be patient with him until he settles into his new home. We hope you'll give this handsome boy a chance to be your new best friend!

Story
She was my husband’s dog. He passed away. I am moving into Senior Housing. Her name is Honda. She loves kids and gets along with other dogs. She had puppy obedience training and still remembers some of the commands. Her favorite toy is a bowling ball on concrete. She loves to play tetherball, but had to take it down because she was catching her teeth in the rope. She is a sweet gentle girl. She was raised on 2 acres, running and chasing rabbits. She doesn’t like being in the house.

Story
Wren is a happy-go-lucky boxer. Loving pretty much everything and everyone this sweet girl loves cacoons and dens, hanging out with her buddies (people and dogs), and eating snacks (who doesn't?). She is constant need of attention, but much like the boxer she is, she is very independant.  Wren was in a home, the owner was no longer capable of giving Wren the love and attention she needed. When she arrived here she sprinted around the yard, so excited to run around. She goes out with one buddy at the moment but we expect she does well with most dogs. Previous owner said she does well with dogs, cats, and children. We have not seen her around cats, but we know she does well with little kids.  She is house trained, does well on leash, and is attentive to people. She would do well in homes where she can get attention and plenty of time to be mentally stimulated or room to run!   ##1666551##
