Wendy - one of two pups surrendered to the city pound when owner could no longer care for them. She will likely mature to be large dog. She was adopted for several months but that placement did not work out when they didn't have time for her. She spent time in a foster home with several other dogs learning how to be a dog, and did great. She will benefit from having a confident friend. To make an appointment to meet her complete the online adoption application at www.denisonanimalwelfaregroup.org/adopt $75 adoption fee -- she is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, tested NEG for heartworms, has been treated for parasites and is on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Max is a puppy at heart that LOVES playing tug-of-war and fetching his ball. He's super friendly with teenagers and adults and will gladly cuddle and lay with anyone willing to pet him. He's VERY prissy and will avoid walking on the grass if you're not walking on the grass. He hates walking on anything wet and doesn't like to play in the rain. He prefers a pampered lifestyle and long walks. He's absolutely hilarious and loving though with all of his quirks. From my experience, Max doesn't like to share attention (or his food) but will love you like no other. He will STEAL YOUR BED if you let him, but he's also kennel trained and will sleep in his own bed overnight if desired. All he wants is to be in your presence and to play with you so making sure he has a comfortable place to lay near you is important.

Meet Nava! Nava is spayed, microchipped, house trained, and up to date on all of her vaccines.She is full of love, and has had an eventful 2 years of being the goodest girl! Nava is a very fast learner, and always eager to please. She is freaking adorable! She loves to play with toys. When she is feeling energetic, she soothes herself with her favorite backyard zoomies. Sqeaky, and crinkly toys are her favorite things! She walks well, and doesn't pull on the leash. Around other dogs, she may initially feel anxious, requiring a bit of time to warm up. But once acquainted, she transforms into the most affectionate pup. Even with an older, less playful dog in the house, Nava keeps the love flowing with endless kisses and playful attempts. About her forever home: - Patience and prior dog-raising experience are a must. - Existing dog/dogs thay are willing to welcome Nava into their pack. - A house with a yard or, even better, a spacious farm where she can enjoy her zoomies.

A very affectionate big boy that is 7 months old. He knows sit,down, come, stay using hand commands paired with verbal commands. We are working on heel .He is extremely food motivated, very smart and sometimes stubborn,when he gets the zoomies.He needs to have another big dog to play with and a very strong owner. He likes my small dogs and wants to play with them but they won’t play with him.. I want him to have a better life with someone that can walk him and play with him, because of a back injury and my lack of strength I can’t give him the activities that he deserves. He is extremely strong , not just my opinion but all persons who have interacted with him have stated the same thing. He has been fed a high quality kibble, fish oil capsule daily and coseqquin every other day. I put a rehoming fee of $$300 to make sure he gets a serious adopter. I will refund this fee if the new owner keeps him for 6 months or returns him to me for any reason. He is a great dog .

Roxxy is a 4 year old, 45 lb, Rottie mix. She is a very loving dog. Great with kids, older folks and in everyone in between. Roxxy is low energy until she gets outside. She loves to run and play outdoors! Roxxy enjoys chilling on the couch alone or with someone too.
