Welcome to the cereal crew. These little beauties were surrendered to the shelter and we took them under the stipulation that we would spay the mother. So we got all of the puppies. The mother is full blooded Rottweiler but we have no idea what the father is. These little guys are cute and full of love and fun. They just need a family to love them so they can have a good chance at being a family member of a nice family that they can give all of their love to as well. We do transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Rosa is a rottweiler who weighs about 90-100 pounds and is guessed to be around 6-8 years old. Rosa was looking pretty rough when she found herself in a high-kill shelter in SW Va. Since coming to us, she has flourished! Rosa is a smart girl who knows how to sit and shake hands. She loves food and is willing to work for it. She is big and strong but is well behaved for her foster mom. We are looking for a strong, competant owner for Rosa who does not have other pets. We would love to see Rosa in her very own home with her very own family. A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Rosa, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other "slow to adopt" dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. Gypsy was a stray. A man in Raymond, Mississippi found her and took her to the pound. They were going to euthanize her, and he took her home. She did not like his cats, so he surrendered her to us. She LOVES to run and play, and she needs a lot of exercise. She does good with most all dogs, but she is shy when she meets new people. Gypsy does not like cats! Once she warms up to people, she just wants to give kisses! Her ideal home would be a person or family that has a large yard for her to run and play in. She would be the best dog to do activities with or just cuddle with on the couch. She should be fine in a large, fenced yard. She can be hyper at times but settles down nicely inside with a chew toy. Gypsy is in boarding now, and she desperately needs a forever family!! We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Asher came to the shelter when she was 6 months old. The shelter scared her badly, so she went home and is being fostered with a shelter staff member. She is crate and potty trained. She is currently in a home with multiple dogs and cats. She is playful and medium to high energy. A complete lovebug! Asher wants nothing more than to be with her people and get her lovin’s! Asher is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home! This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org.
