Story
Mack the Rottweiler mix is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet! He might be 90 pounds, but he's just a big, gentle giant. He is low to medium energy which is perfect for someone who works during the day or leads a more chill lifestyle. Mack likes pretty much everything, but rubber toys, food, naps, and walks top his list. He's also school aged child friendly too! The only thing Mack isn't thrilled about is other animals and therefore would be to be an only pet in his future home. He is so handsome and has a great personality to match. Take a chance on sweet Mack! You won't regret it. You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about him on JR's Pups-N-Stuff's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/. Story
Do you love Rottweilers? Do you love a good walking partner? Do you love giving ear scratches or belly rubs? Then you might be a fit for me, Sadie Lou Who. I'm around 55 lbs, and a medium to high energy girl that loves play time and long walks! I do get excited when I play, so I prefer children over the age of 10 and no cats in my home. I can be dog selective, but that's only because I want the perfect playmate, so I just need a proper introduction, then we are off to play! I've got the best butt wiggles when I'm excited and I am very treat motivated!I'm looking for the right family to take me home and love me, but eager to learn some new tricks! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about her on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet Sadie Lou Who today!!Adoption fee: $500All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Hello! I'm a big goofy guy who is extremely food-motivated. I would prefer a home with no cats, and no small kids as I can be quite the lap dog at a whopping 80lbs! I've had good dog interactions but would need proper testing with any pup you may have! Story
· Intake Reason: surrendered, not getting along with other dogKnown with:· Cats: unknown· Dogs: lived with 2 yr old Husky and 2 yr old Rottweiler, both neutered males. Only dog to have issue with in home is Husky. Has attended dog park and doggy day care.· Kids: exposed to various ages and did well.· Personality: Very playful and loves tennis balls and fetch. Tends to pull on the leash a bit and is very personable. Knows: sitHello, my name is Rufus and I am a debonair gentleman who is currently in the market for a new home. I lived with a family almost my whole life and things were lovely. I do well with most other dogs and had fun playing at the dog park and with the neighborhood dogs and also got to romp at doggy daycare. When a Rottweiler and a Husky came to live with me, the Rottie was a compatible roommate but the Husky was a bit high-strung for my taste. To keep peace in the home, my people decided that I should come to WCHS to find a new family. I am a sweet and charming lad with loads of love to give so I am confident that I will find a loving home with a consistent leader. Although I am comfortable in a crate, in my previous home I was so respectful of my human's things I was able to roam around freely when I was alone. At night I had the luxury of sleeping in my person's bed and that was lovely; we could snuggle all night long. I had learned to sit by the door and whine to ask to go outside so I could potty. When I get into my new home it would be wise to give me plenty of opportunities to use the outdoor facilities until we learn each other's signals and routines. I am an active boy (some even say hyper) who thrives on physical and mental exercise. I also have a quiet and affectionate side; do you think 70 pounds is too big to hang out on your lap? I am a smart lad and already know the cues for ‘sit' and ‘down'; maybe we could take some classes together so I could learn more human words. I like to keep my brain busy so I like learning and playing challenging games like ‘find-it' or nose work. Foraging mats and brain teaser toys that utilize my nose are tons of fun. I certainly hope you stop by so we can meet in person and you will agree that I am delightful and endearing.#1
