After a long trip north, these seven puppies are getting the opportunity to leave shelter uncertainty behind and begin their next chapter surrounded by care, comfort, and plenty of attention.The litter includes Pismo, Cannon, Jekyll, Tybee, Myrtle, Avila, and Avalon. These puppies came into rescue after being surrendered as part of an unwanted litter in Georgia. While their exact breed mix is unknown, they are believed to be a Boxer/Shepherd mix, with some puppies sporting striking blue eyes that suggest Husky or other breeds may also be part of their heritage.Now approximately 8 weeks old, these puppies are playful, curious, and full of personality. Like all young puppies, they are learning about the world around them and beginning to develop their individual temperaments. Their foster families are helping them gain confidence, experience new sights and sounds, and learn the foundations of life as beloved family pets.Because they are still so young, the puppies are just beginning their journeys with house training, crate training, and basic manners. Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: For dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, that works too!**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
