After a long trip north, these seven puppies are getting the opportunity to leave shelter uncertainty behind and begin their next chapter surrounded by care, comfort, and plenty of attention. The litter includes Pismo, Cannon, Jekyll, Tybee, Myrtle, Avila, and Avalon. These puppies came into rescue after being surrendered as part of an unwanted litter in Georgia. While their exact breed mix is unknown, they are believed to be a Boxer/Shepherd mix, with some puppies sporting striking blue eyes that suggest Husky or other breeds may also be part of their heritage. Now approximately 8 weeks old, these puppies are playful, curious, and full of personality. Like all young puppies, they are learning about the world around them and beginning to develop their individual temperaments. Their foster families are helping them gain confidence, experience new sights and sounds, and learn the foundations of life as beloved family pets.Because they are still so young, the puppies are just beginning their journeys with house training, crate training, and basic manners. With continued socialization, training, and positive experiences, they are expected to grow into wonderful companions.Litter Details:Age: Approximately 8 weeksGender: 4 males, 3 femalesWeight: 4–6 lbsBreed: Mixed Breed (Boxer/Shepherd mix best guess, possibly Husky mix)Spayed/Neutered: Not yetPotty Trained: Not yetCrate Trained: Not yetLeash Manners: Not yetGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesGood with Kids: YesThe Beach Town puppies are now safe in Wisconsin and enjoying the chance to grow up in caring homes.
