Meet Peaches: Your Sweet Summer Sidekick! 🍑☀️ This fun-sized bundle of love has been waiting patiently for her forever home, and she’s ready to make your summer the best one yet! Peaches is a petite pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Whether she’s goofing around in the yard, charming the socks off everyone at the dog park, or snuggling up after a long day, Peaches brings sunshine wherever she goes. 🌼🐾 She’s: Fully potty trained ✅ Great with other dogs AND kids 🐶👧 Cat-friendly and knows “sit” 🐱👏 Medium energy—loves to play, but also enjoys a good chill session 🌞 Food motivated (treats = training win!) 🍗 Peaches would thrive in an active home—maybe a young couple or a family with older kids—where she can get a couple of walks or some fenced yard fun each day. She’s still working on perfecting her manners (like not jumping up and coming when called), but she’s super smart and eager to learn with gentle guidance and treats. Let this sunny sweetheart finally find her forever. Peaches is ready to fill your days with laughter, love, and lots of wagging tails. 💕 Ready to meet her? Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: ❤️ANDERSON ❤️ Anderson may look like royalty with his regal stance and handsome face, but this sweet boy is all heart. Found as a stray in rural Georgia, Anderson hasn’t let his past define him—he’s a happy, social pup who’s just looking for someone to give him a real shot at love. He’s currently waiting for a foster or adopter to step up so he can catch a ride on transport leaving 5/10/25. Anderson is young, loving, and full of life. He does great in playgroups with other dogs and loves to romp around and make new friends. He’s super friendly, always smiling, and ready to be your loyal sidekick. Whether you're looking for a playful companion or a cuddly couch buddy, Anderson is the total package. Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: 🐾 Garth 🐾 Garth is so close to getting his second chance — he just needs one last thing: a foster or adopter to help him make the trip. He is currently in Georgia and is hoping to travel to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on May 10th with Mutt Life Dog Rescue, but he cannot board the transport without a confirmed place to land. Garth is stuck in an overcrowded shelter shuttle and desperately needs out. This sweet, playful boy loves other big dogs and would thrive with a doggy buddy to romp and wrestle with. He is very social, friendly, and full of life — but the shelter is wearing him down. After being there for far too long, Garth is starting to lose weight from depression and not eating. Normally, Garth is a happy-go-lucky guy who just wants to love and be loved. He does need some leash work, but with a little patience, he will catch on quickly. 🐶 Likely a Boxer mix ❣️ Dog-friendly (big dogs preferred) 😺 Cat-friendliness unknown, but we can test if needed Garth desperately needs his freedom ride on May 10th — help us show him the good life is waiting for him in Wisconsin. Please share to help Garth find his way home! Story
Zeb was left at the shelter as a “stray,” but the truth came out the moment the car pulled away—he screamed and tried to chase after them. His heartbreak was immediate and undeniable. Zeb knew those people. They were his family, and they abandoned him. In the shelter, Zeb shut down. He was terrified when people passed by his kennel, often curled up in the corner, withdrawn and trembling. But step inside with him, and everything changed. He would light up—crying for closeness, soaking up affection, and clinging to any comfort he could find. Zeb is not aggressive. He’s not broken. He’s just been deeply hurt and left to navigate the confusion and grief of losing his home. But he’s starting to bloom again. Today, Zeb is coming out of his shell in foster care! He’s smiling, playing with toys, and joyfully chasing his foster buddy Willow around the house. He’s more confident exploring the yard and becoming more independent every day. And when it’s time to relax? He’s a total cuddle bug—if you’re sitting, he wants to be in your lap. Zeb is ready to love and be loved. He’s looking for someone who will never leave—someone to remind him that love, the real kind, stays. Cuddler. Companion. Survivor. Zeb is waiting. I am currently available from a foster home. If you are interested in seeing me, please call the shelter first to set up a time to meet me.Intake Reason: Surrendered, change in living situation & no timeWeight: 50 lbsKnown with: ·Cats: Lived with 8yr - played rough with each other ·Dogs: Good - has been at dog parks, does well in WCHS playgroups ·Kids: Lived with a 3 and 11 yr old - does not know his sizeFun Facts About Me:•Although I my be a tad vertically challenged, I am an extreme athlete and I am happiest when I can stay active•I love to go on walks and hikes and seem to be leash reactive when I see other pups but that is because I do a high-pitched whine and pull toward them to play; perhaps we can practice staying a bit more calm•In my previous home I had a comfy cozy crate that I used as my quiet personal little den where I could chill when I was alone or to sleep at night•I have learned to go to the door in my home to let my people know I needed to use the outdoor facilities•I know the cues for ‘sit’, ‘gentle’ and ‘kennel-up’; I am very food motivated which helps during my positive technique training sessions•I have to be a little careful playing with soft toys or rope toys because I have a tendency to ingest them; it would be wise to supervise me if I have them•I am a friendly, outgoing and playful dude who enjoys romping with other pooches; my mates need to understand that I am a high-octane rough player•I am an affectionate lad who thoroughly enjoys snuggle sessions during quiet times; you will find me completely adorable when I snore#2
