Meet Makuna, a gentle, soulful boy who came to us after the passing of his beloved owner. Around 11 years old, he’s been rediscovering what it means to feel safe—and once he does, his loving personality truly shines. Though a little shy at first, Makuna warms up beautifully with patience and kindness. He loves face and head scratches and will happily flop over for belly rubs once trust is built. When he’s content, he turns into a purring machine and even lets out soft little chirps when he’s excited. Makuna is fairly calm overall, but don’t let his age fool you—he gets a daily case of the zoomies and enjoys playtime. He actively tries to engage other cats, often inviting them to chase and play, and would likely enjoy a friendly feline companion with a similar energy level. He’s especially devoted to his “primary person” and loves being nearby—following you from room to room (including bathroom supervision duties) and keeping you company as you go about your day. Thunder is THE sweetest and THE cuddliest!'s Story Older kitties, Momma and Young Adult cats make some of our best therapy snuggle buddies. They tend to think of their humans as an extended part of their mothering duties and these beauties are all incredible. Gorgeous supermodels but with hearts of gold. Let's talk about them individually: Sansa and Arya - double the rainbow double the supermodels double the cuddlers. They are soooo soooo sweet and sadly owner moved leaving them at a shelter terrified. Arya has the adventurous personality while sis Sansa is a quiet cuddler. Bothl delightful beyond words - possible therapy cats! Fully vetted bonded so cannot separate Sheba - this 6 yr old chonky white goddess is the queen of kisses and cuddles is so fun and funny that she will make any person smile. As u can see in her video - she LOVES being a loaf and snuggling - such a dorky goofball. But what makes her truly amazing is her non stop cuddling to people of all ages - def meant for smiles AND therapy! Indy and Thunder - these siblings - one a van and one a blue - are FULL lovers - not bonded so can go solo too but do well together as they have grown up as bffs. Super loving and we love their gorgeous exotic faces!! They were not strays or ferals but have grown up in a loving home and now a loving foster and just have so much more joy to share with u! Briar - 7 m old Tuxie Van mix - boy oh' boy do we love this boy! His brother is already adopted as a therapy cat and is SHINING and we know he will do the same. Friendly happy cat dog with no 'tude except love! He is beautiful and kind and great with all other pets and kids. Low shed too! Perfect! GIGI is a beautiful, all-gray (possible Russian Blue mix) lady with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to love. At around 5–7 years old, she’s the definition of low-maintenance grace. She enjoys the simple pleasures — batting at her toys, lounging by the window, keeping quiet company beside you, gentle pets and giving sweet little kisses. Gigi will rub all over you and even greet you at the door when you get home. Gigi will thrive in an adult-only home where she will have time and patience to settle into a new home. While Gigi is perfectly content as a solo queen, she can live with other cats as long as introductions are slow and thoughtful. Gigi’s future is full of promise.
