Council Bluffs, IA
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Foxxy is a small, Shiba Inu born around August of 2017, who is working hard to find her way. This little gal is very shy and skittish and she's still learning how to be comfortable around humans and their daily activities. She has made loads of progress with her foster family, but her experiences in the puppy mill are lasting and traumatic; this sweet girl will need a very special, patient family to bring her home. Foxxy is using potty pads successfully in her foster home and has become quite the cheese connoisseur -- she loves the stuff! Over the past couple of months, she has started to show her playful side with one of her foster family's resident dogs... a huge leap of faith for this girl. Foxxy will continue to work on her confidence in her foster home and we'll keep updating her progress! Foxxy needs a fenced yard because she doesn't care for leashes! The suggested adoption donation for Foxxy is $375. We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX-DEDUCTIBLE. All donations go toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, providing supportive services to animals in homes, and funding for special programs like Muddy Paws Parvo Puppy Project. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at or our Facebook Page.  ##1179951##
