Meet Ko Ko! Ko Ko is an approximately one-year-old Mini Aussie/Schipperke mix with a big personality packed into one adorable little body. She is sweet, playful, full of energy, and firmly believes that people were put on this earth to be her very best friends. She absolutely loves human attention and will happily greet you with her bright eyes, happy smile, and plenty of enthusiasm. Personal space may be negotiable when there is affection to be collected. Ko Ko is also quite the social butterfly. She enjoys the company of other dogs, is friendly with cats, and thinks kids make wonderful playmates. Whether she is romping around with her four-legged friends or soaking up attention from her people, this cheerful girl is happiest when she is part of the fun. She is still new to rescue, so we are continuing to learn more about her personality and all her favorite things. What we already know is that Ko Ko is a fun-loving, people-adoring sweetheart with plenty of energy, affection, and happiness to share. With that irresistible smile and joyful personality, she has a way of making every day feel a little brighter.    The suggested adoption fee for Ko Ko is $565. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##2837977##

Story
Meet Kitsu (Kit) If you've ever dreamed of sharing your life with a little fox, you'll need to meet Kit, a 5 year old male Shiba Inu who comes in at only 16 lbs. Kit spent the first part of his life with a commercial breeder, so the world is still full of new experiences for him. Because of his past, he will need a patient, understanding family that will let him learn at his own pace. A big perk would be joining a home with a confident and kind resident dog. Kit is also an excellent copy cat! Trust doesn't happen overnight, but every small step he takes is a huge victory, and what better way to keep learning than from another furry pal. Kit is a gentle soul with the cutest fox-like face and a heart that's ready to discover what it means to be loved. He may be shy at first, but with kindness, consistency, and lots of encouragement, he will continue to blossom into the dog he’s meant to be. Kit is kid approved, but because he’s a bit skittish yet, it’s probably best to not have wild toddlers in the home to scare him. Kit is already crate trained and potty trained. Kit is still unsure about car rides but has recently learned to enjoy neighborhood walks on a leash. He will need continued basic dog training and time to build extra confidence in these areas but these tricks all come in time. We can tell Kit is a smart boy who is ready to continue enjoying this newfound freedom. He will require a secure fully fenced in yard.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to a truly rewarding experience, apply for Kit! He is neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated, had a dental cleaning with teeth pulled, and is on heartworm prevention. His adoption donation is $375. Please apply on our website directly in the dropdown menu at: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!! September 10, 2026, 10:34 pm
