This sweet 10-year-old, 20 lb. gentleman was found as a stray in Los Angeles in heartbreaking condition—battling skin and ear infections, dental disease, and a host of other medical issues. He was designated “rescue only” at the Chesterfield Square Shelter, and we knew we had to act. Now a proud Frosted Face, Ansel has been lovingly nursed back to health in a foster home with an amazing member of our veterinary team. After recovering from surgery to remove masses, and receiving lots of TLC and good meals, Ansel is feeling great and is ready to find his forever home! What makes Ansel special: Super sweet and gentle Gets along great with other dogs Passed his cat test like a pro! Eats well & has great house manners LOVES attention and companionship His transformation is incredible—check out his before & after photos!
