Danny is a natural extrovert, outgoing and friendly - which works out well, because he's so cutely scruffy that everybody wants to meet him! He walked well on the leash today and sat nicely for treats (which he *thoroughly* enjoyed.) Meet Nyx is a Cannoodle (Cane Corso + Labradoodle = pure magic). Nyx is a pro-level snuggle bug, melting into your lap like butter on a biscuit, but don’t think she’s clingy, she’s also a card-carrying member of the doggy social club. She adores hanging with her canine crew and is absolutely “one of the pack.” And cats? Please. She gets along just fine with them… though her foster mom’s cats are basically small lions (three Maine Coons and one normal-sized cat just trying to survive in their shadow). She’s got those subtle brindle streaks that scream “luxury,” the playfulness to turn any room into a rom-com chase scene, and the chill factor to lounge like a queen who’s waiting for her grapes to be peeled. Nyx is equal parts best friend, cuddle buddy, and social butterfly, all wrapped up in one ridiculously cute package. Current Location: Littlestown, PA Snow is a one year old poodle mix who weighs about 48 pounds. She is sweet once she feels safe. She watches new people for a moment before she decides to trust them. Once she chooses you, she stays close. Energy and Personality Snow has a gentle spirit. She likes calm spaces. She studies new situations. She warms up with slow steps. She becomes affectionate once she settles. Training and Behavior Snow moved inside today after time in the puppy room to decompress. I do not know her house training or crate training status yet. She needs a patient routine and simple structure as she adjusts. She responds best when people slow their pace and give her space to decide. Social Life New people need to avoid eye contact at first. That helps her relax. My three year old can pet her with this approach. She bonds tight with her person. She will do the same in her forever home once she feels secure. Special Traits Snow is cautious and thoughtful. She reads the room before she engages. She gives soft affection once she trusts you. She is the type of dog who picks her person with care. Best Home Fit Snow needs a calm home. She needs patient people who understand slow introductions. She would thrive with someone who gives her time to settle and rewards small steps forward.
