Story
Danny is a natural extrovert, outgoing and friendly - which works out well, because he's so cutely scruffy that everybody wants to meet him! He walked well on the leash today and sat nicely for treats (which he *thoroughly* enjoyed.) Between giving us bumps to ask for more scritches, he happily checked out the parking lot and enjoyed the breeze. Questions About this Animal? Story
Meet Nyx is a Cannoodle (Cane Corso + Labradoodle = pure magic). Nyx is a pro-level snuggle bug, melting into your lap like butter on a biscuit, but don’t think she’s clingy, she’s also a card-carrying member of the doggy social club. She adores hanging with her canine crew and is absolutely “one of the pack.” And cats? Please. She gets along just fine with them… though her foster mom’s cats are basically small lions (three Maine Coons and one normal-sized cat just trying to survive in their shadow). She’s got those subtle brindle streaks that scream “luxury,” the playfulness to turn any room into a rom-com chase scene, and the chill factor to lounge like a queen who’s waiting for her grapes to be peeled. Because Nyx has some anxiety, we are currently only considering applications that have a suitable canine companion in the home who could be a good dog-mentor for her. Questions About this Animal? Story
Currently fostered in: Brooklyn Park, MD 💙Meet Delgato!💙 SOCIAL LIFE This sweet, scruffy boy is a snuggle machine! He is a gentle love bug in a fuzzy pups body. Delgato is a very polite guy who has a big soft spot for humans- quickly making everyone his best friend! He is good around strangers, cats, and other dogs, but is a little shy and will need some time to warm up. While he is cool with other dogs being around, he definitely prefers the company of people. ENERGY AND PERSONALITY Delgato gives major old soul vibes- so laidback and gentle you wouldn't know he is only 5 months old. Laying with his humans and playing with his squeaky toys are his favorite pastimes. He is a no fuss kinda guy who prefers the relaxed life! Every so often he gets a short burst of puppy energy- which he shows off by throwing his toys in the air and chasing after them! SPECIAL TRAITS Very soulful eyes, a soft coat, and an open loving demeanor- Delgato brings a warm balanced energy to any environment he is in. He has the perfect mix of puppy playfulness and charming loyalty- making him a well-rounded dog that will be a fantastic companion. TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR At only 5 months old, Delgato is still working on all the basics of manners- but he learns fast! He's got all the best parts of puppyhood- snuggly, food motivated, and eager to be with his humans. He knows sit and is quickly getting the hang of pottying outside. Like any 5 month old pup he is still learning the ropes of being a dog. He doesn't love to be alone yet- so he will need some practice learning it'll be okay. BEST HOME FIT Delgato will thrive with patient, present adopters who will continue building his confidence in new situations. He will need guidance to further his basic training and expand upon the skills he is already acing! He will require regular grooming to avoid tangles. VETERINARY CARE Delgato is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and receiving heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives along with routine parasite treatments.

Story
SNOOP: 14lbs Schnoodle ( Schnauzer/Poodle mix) Black 16 months Meet Snoop Snoop is an affectionate, playful Schnoodle with a big heart and an even bigger love for fun. He’s incredibly smart and has quickly learned his name, basic commands, and how to play fetch. Snoop adores toys, plays enthusiastically, and is respectful of the home, no unwanted chewing here! Snoop is confident, friendly, and loves being part of the action. He enjoys walks, playtime, car rides, and especially spending time with his favorite companion, Benji. Like his buddy, Snoop may bark briefly when meeting new people, but calms down quickly and warms up fast. He is fully vetted, neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash. At around 15 pounds, Snoop is an ideal house dog who would do well in a home with kids or with someone who is around most of the day. He has lots of youthful energy and would benefit from a fenced yard where he and Benji can run and play. Snoop is still learning about the world and would love a family who enjoys helping him build confidence and explore new experiences, especially alongside Benji. Because of their incredibly strong bond, Snoop and Benji must be adopted together.

Story
Meet Benji Benji is a resilient, tender-hearted Cavapoo whose gentle spirit shines despite a difficult start in life. He survived being used as a bait dog and carries a partial loss of an ear along with a few spots where his fur is still growing back, small reminders of his past that only make his strength and sweetness more remarkable. Today, Benji is a happy, affectionate, and cuddly boy with beautiful, expressive eyes and a joyful personality. He loves a full belly, cozy snuggles, and getting his zoomies out during walks or playtime. He’s smart, eager to learn, and has quickly picked up his name, basic commands, and fetch. Benji can be a little unsure around larger dogs at first, but his confidence grows with each positive experience. He may bark briefly when meeting new people, but settles quickly once he knows he’s safe. Benji is house-trained, crate-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and rides happily in the car. At about 15 pounds, he’s the perfect size for just about any home. Benji would thrive with a family that enjoys teaching and guiding a young dog as he continues learning about the world. He has plenty of energy and would do best with a fenced yard to burn it off. Most importantly, Benji is deeply bonded to his best friend, Snoop, and must be adopted together. Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting BENJI AND SNOOP, please go to our website www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to see our adoption process and download the adoption application BENJI AND SNOOP's adoption donation is $1750
