Meet Kayda! Kayda is about 15 weeks old and currently weighs 16 lbs. We think she is a Poodle/Schnauzer mix, but it’s really just a guess.
Kayda is a sweet girl. She is a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Kayda enjoys playing with dogs, toys or chilling on the couch. She is great with other dogs. Kayda wants to be loved on and get affection. She’s got a heart of gold. She is doing excellent with her crate-training and still working on her house-training.
Because this is a young puppy, the adopter must be home during the day to continue training and socialization and help the puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
This puppy has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and will need to be spayed at 6 months of age.
The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 plus a $100.00 spay/neuter refundable deposit.
***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old***

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
