Danny is a natural extrovert, outgoing and friendly - which works out well, because he's so cutely scruffy that everybody wants to meet him! He walked well on the leash today and sat nicely for treats (which he *thoroughly* enjoyed.) Meet Nyx is a Cannoodle (Cane Corso + Labradoodle = pure magic). Nyx is a pro-level snuggle bug, melting into your lap like butter on a biscuit, but don’t think she’s clingy, she’s also a card-carrying member of the doggy social club. She adores hanging with her canine crew and is absolutely “one of the pack.” And cats? Please. She gets along just fine with them… though her foster mom’s cats are basically small lions (three Maine Coons and one normal-sized cat just trying to survive in their shadow). She’s got those subtle brindle streaks that scream “luxury,” the playfulness to turn any room into a rom-com chase scene, and the chill factor to lounge like a queen who’s waiting for her grapes to be peeled. Because Nyx has some anxiety, we are currently only considering applications that have a suitable canine companion in the home who could be a good dog-mentor for her. Questions About this Animal? She was rescued in 2019 at the Humane Rescue Alliance. She was probably 5 yrs old but they guessed she was 10. She loves people and hour long walks. She needs a lot of water and a 11:30 PM walk to sleep through the night. She has no peripheral vision in either eye but can see straight on. Her teeth are not strong so she needs wet food (Beneful) only a half of that tiny can per meal. She likes 2% Milk once a day. She fully understands English, but never acknowledged the "Sit!" command. She barks at small children and hound dogs. She has two lumps on her underside. The soft one has been there since 2019 when I adopted her. The hard one about a year, with some growth. I understand that the hard one can be drained. She likes to listen to classical music when she's left alone. She can roam freely. She sleeps until you return and may need you to wake her up. She eats a spoonful of yogurt (Chobani). She likes to be held like a baby with eye contact once or twice a day for a few minutes.

Delgato is a very polite guy who has a big soft spot for humans- quickly making everyone his best friend! He is good around strangers, cats, and other dogs, but is a little shy and will need some time to warm up. While he is cool with other dogs being around, he definitely prefers the company of people. ENERGY AND PERSONALITY Delgato gives major old soul vibes- so laidback and gentle you wouldn't know he is only 5 months old.
