Texas adoption only Bramble is the ultimate companion dog for your dog that you didn't know you need. He is a happy adult dog, 17# scruffy little terrier, who loves to cuddle & play with other dogs. He is also fine with the company of cats. Humans though, take longer to earn his trust due to Bramble's traumatic past. With patience & time, he will eventually come up to you for gentle head pets...as long as you don't look at him! He is enthusiastic about food, will take treats from your hand, likes routine. Although timid, he is NOT a biter. He even occasionally enjoys bathing & brushing. Bramble is so deserving of a safe & loving home with at least one doggie buddy. Is that home yours? Hi! I'm Casey. I'm from Minnesota. From his foster: Casey is a sweet, easygoing older gent who loves to snuggle and follow his person around the house. He gets along with other dogs, except maybe at mealtime, and is a happy sidekick to my older, dog savy kids (but would probably be fine with any kid who is gentle with him.) he's potty trained, but does better with a belly band if left for a stretch since he's older. He's happy and spry for his age, and appreciates but doesn't require walks. Casey does get anxious on car rides and gets very vocal, so he wouldn't be a happy sidekick for a traveler.

Hi! I'm King Louis! I'm from Missouri! From his foster: Hello this is King Louis, or just Louis or Lou lou:) Louis is very sweet and will make a really great companion for someone. King Louis will need a special person to take him home. Louis is very timid and shy, he does well with other dogs to show him the ropes. Louis doesn't walk on a leash, and runs away from people, so he will need time and training. Even though he is scared of people he doesn't like being alone so he cries if left alone at night, so he sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom. Louis started out deathly afraid of my husband but he has gotten more comfortable. He actually doesn't seem nearly as scared of my teenage daughters, so older kids I think are fine.

Hi! I'm Roy. I'm from Missouri. So far, I love Minnesota. I currently live in an apartment on the 5th floor. I am completely fine with the elevator, shared walls and riding around in her car. I go on a few walks per day and love to eat and sleep. When I first arrived at my fosters pad, I ran straight to her room and jumped on her bed and snuggled in for a good nap. I don't love my kennel, and sometimes I bark at strange noises, but I'm working on it. I go potty outside and have had only 1 accident. I have been wearing potty binders in the house because I like to mark sometimes but will get used to a routine. I don't love my kennel unless I can see you or know that you are nearby, so no shared walls are best for me. I do fine in an apartment, but when my people have to leave me in my kennel I miss them so much! I would love to find my forever home with active family members!

Hi! I'm Alma. I'm from Missouri. From her foster: Alma is a super sweet girl that is so friendly and LOVES being with people. She loves to play fetch and go outside but she is also content just laying by you on the couch. She isn't shy and so far as enjoyed all her new experiences! She was not fully potty trained when we got her but she is a very fast learner and I'm sure it won't take long. She has been a bit territorial with food and toys with my dog so I think based on her past experiences she would do best in a home where she is the only dog and gets all the attention. I also think she needs a home where people arent often gone.
