Story
Are you looking for some more love in your life? Look no ‘moe’! Moe is an 8-month-old cockapoo who can’t wait to be your shadow! A silly, affectionate, and playful puppy, he loves playing with his toys, cuddling with his foster mama, and going for walks to sniff around the neighborhood. Moe has been friendly with other dogs he’s met on walks, and enjoys playing with his foster sister. He would thrive as a companion to a young, playful dog, or as a cherished only pup. Because he has done so well with his leash training, he does NOT require a fenced-in backyard. Although initially a bit skittish and unsure, he has made fast progress while in his foster home and his foster mom refers to him as her ‘shadow.’ He is working on his crate training, and will sleep all night quietly in his crate, as long as it is next to his mom’s side of the bed. During the day he is usually quiet in his crate, but will sometimes complain a bit. His adoptive family should be committed to continuing his crate training, or be able to provide him with a puppy-proofed room where he can be left alone. Moe enjoys playing with the children in his foster home, but he has a clear preference for his mom, he is a ‘Velcro’ dog. Any children in the home should be old enough to understand that he can still be a little skittish, and be patient with him as he adjusts in the transition to his adoptive home. He is only 11 pounds, so children will also need to keep his small size in mind when playing. As a young puppy, Moe will need continued training to grow into a confident, obedient adult. He currently knows ‘touch’ and ‘come,’ and is working on ‘sit.’ He is doing very well with his house training, and is kept on a schedule at his foster home, since he does not yet know how to ’ask’ to go out. He is a puppy, and some regression would be expected when he transitions to his forever home. Moe is being fostered in Wyomissing, Pa. Potential adopters will need to be willing to travel to this area for a meet and greet. All residential dogs will also need to come to this meet. Moe is up to date on his vaccines and preventatives and has been microchipped and neutered. If you’re interested in being Moe’s forever family, please apply today @ www.zoeshouserescue.com! Story
Meet Red Spice ❤️ Red Spice is a beautiful 6‑year‑old, 9‑pound red Poodle who is quietly waiting for the second chance she so deeply deserves. She came to us after being surrendered by a Lancaster breeder when she was no longer wanted or needed. Because of her past, Red Spice is understandably suspicious of new people and unfamiliar situations. She’s not a dog who will rush right up for attention—but with patience, kindness, and consistency, she begins to show her true self. Red Spice allows handling, and we are mindful to move slowly with her, always letting her set the pace and respecting her comfort level. Going slow has helped her feel safe, and she continues to make progress every day. Red Spice is a good girl with a gentle soul who simply needs someone willing to show her that life from here on out will only bring good things. She is looking for a calm, quiet home with no young children, where she can settle in without pressure. Other dogs would be just fine and may even help her feel more secure. With time, patience, and love, Red Spice will blossom into a loyal and grateful companion. She has so much love to give to the right person—someone who understands that trust is earned and that second chances can be life‑changing. If you’re looking to make a meaningful difference in a dog’s life, Red Spice is ready to begin her next chapter with you. 💛 She will come, spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive the dental as the vet deem necessary. She would need to meet any resident dogs. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $500. Story
hi Babette, this lovely girl is an approx. 4 year old mixed breed. We suspect she is a Bouvier and Poodle mix but your guess is as good as ours. She was abandoned at a police station and brought to the local animal control shelter . She is about 60 lbs. We do not know what her past was but she is thriving now! When she first entered the animal control shelter she was extremely guarded, nervous and fearful. Thankfully, with our volunteers she has done a total 180 and is so much fun! She has been affectionate, silly and friendly, though she can still be nervous sometimes around new people. She can also be pretty stubborn when she refuses to do something (like walk back to the kennel). She is looking for experienced dog home, without young children. Babette has been doing amazing at the rescue - she is often found playing around with our larger dogs. She is also handled without issues by all of our volunteers (male and female). She was briefly adopted but then returned to us. The adopter let us know that she was not doing well with the men in the house and would once again be very guarded around them. She needs an experienced home that will help her through the adjustment period until she is comfortable. She would need to meet any resident dogs but has been playful and friendly in playgroups with dogs of similar size and energy. She will come spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $475. Story
Meet Sandor 🐺 Gentle soul. Playful spirit. A heart ready to belong. ✨ Sandor is a sweet, sensitive boy who’s navigating some big life changes with quiet bravery. Found as a stray and later reclaimed but not kept, he’s still settling in—but even through the uncertainty, his loving nature shines through. 🌱 He can be shy and a little nervous at first, appreciating gentle handling and time to feel safe. Once he’s comfortable, though, Sandor is all heart—affectionate, attentive, and happiest when he’s included. He’s a playful, goofy guy with a free-spirited streak, and nothing makes him light up quite like a game of fetch. 🎾 Sandor has the makings of a wonderful adventure buddy and loyal companion. He’s still working on his leash skills and building confidence, but he’s eager to learn and trying his best every day. With his low-shedding coat, he’ll need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling great. ✂️ Sandor may come across as quiet at first, but give him patience and kindness, and you’ll discover a joyful, devoted friend just waiting for his second chance. 💛 📍 The Center for Animal Health and Welfare PA Kennel License #02941 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
Long legs, gentle heart, and a name as sweet as she is, Josephine (nicknamed Josie) is ready to steal your heart… and your couch! At 4 years old, this beautiful mini Bernedoodle has been on quite the journey, and we are so incredibly proud of how far she’s come. Josie has worked hard to overcome fears, and lately she’s truly started to blossom 💜 Josie is the perfect mix of active and couch potato. She loves stretching those long legs (her foster parents say she has ✨legs for days✨), and those legs help her jump surprisingly high! But when playtime is over, Josie is all about the couch life. If there’s room, she’ll happily curl up beside you. If there’s not… she’ll make room 😂 Snuggles are absolutely her love language. Josie is crate trained (even if she sometimes offers a little protest first 😉), and she has made BIG strides with potty training. She’s trying so hard and gaining confidence every single day. Josie would thrive with a doggy sibling who can continue showing her the ropes. She finds comfort in having another pup around! However, she’s not a big roughhouser. She prefers a calm, respectful furry friend who matches her gentle personality. She also recently spent a weekend with young children and was incredibly gentle with them. Her sweet and careful nature really shined. Josie is still frightened by many sounds and sights, so she will need a patient, understanding forever family committed to helping her continue building confidence at her own pace. With love, reassurance, and consistency, Josie truly shines. Right now, Josie’s coat is very short. However her soft, adorable curls are already starting to grow back in! She’s rocking the low-maintenance look at the moment, and we can’t wait to see those signature Bernedoodle waves return. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a tender heart, a little sass, and the perfect balance of playful and cozy, Josie might just be your girl 💜

Story
Meet Goldie! 💛 Goldie is a 5-year-old, 40-pound mini Goldendoodle with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s a sweet, happy, high-energy girl who lives for pets and has a special talent for stealing every chew toy in sight. Her favorite game? Grabbing your stuff and daring you to chase her for it! Goldie absolutely adores kids and gets along great with other dogs her size. In her foster home, she happily shares life with three foster fur brothers (two Huskies and a Cavalier) and two human sisters ages 3 and 8. Because she’s such an energetic pup, Goldie would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can burn off her energy, or with an active person or family committed to giving her regular exercise and playtime. She’s done wonderfully with potty training and crate training. Her crate is her safe space, and when she’s ready to relax, she’ll happily put herself to bed. Goldie also walks nicely on a leash, is gaining confidence going up and down stairs, and enjoys car rides. Goldie is a fun-loving, affectionate girl ready to bring joy, laughs, and lots of tail wags to her forever home. If you think she would make the perfect addition to your family, apply today!!! www.zoeshouserescue.com Goldie is being fostered in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Story
Say hello to this 4 year old boy who is now completely retired from the puppy farm and is waiting to start his new life with his forever family. His name is Romeo, he is a 16 pound mini poodle with long legs that make him look like a baby deer and oh so handsome 😍 His white stripes on his face and paws make him so perfect like a painted portrait. Romeo is still learning what affection and love mean. He gets so excited to see his people but still can be scared at times with new faces. He loves respectful children, does well with cats. He gets along well with all dogs but can also be the only boy. He does not like the crate, and would prefer someone who is home more often than not so he can cuddle 🥰 He is learning to walk on a leash but a fenced yard is best for him. He does scare easily outside especially with new noise. He loves to be next to you on couch and sleeps well all night long on the bed. He is working on his bathroom etiquette, and does wear a belly band when his people are out of house. He loves rides in the car and sits like a gentleman. He is neutered and up to date with all his vaccines. He is a poodle and will require regular grooming to maintain his curly coat. All adopters must be willing to travel for a meet and greet with family and any other pets. Romeo is fostered in Scranton. Apply for this handsome boy at www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue.
