Story

Comet was being Euthanized by his owners, he was with one family 8 years. When they moved from a house to an apartment he became anxious and not when trying to get him from under the bed. Comet has been in my house ever since while I try to find him a new home. He's been through behavioral training and would do best in a home with not other pets, he is a very young 8 year old and having a nice walk everyday keeps him healthy and happy. He enjoys chasing squirrels and acting like a dog. He's actually a great protector and would do great with an active owner . He is neutered,microchipped, UTD on shots and on HW and flea prevention. Thay came from a difficult hoarding situation, but he’s made incredible progress and has adapted beautifully to family life. He gets along great with our pets and is a total love bug once he feels comfortable. While he can be cautious around new people and unfamiliar animals, his gentle and affectionate personality really shines through. He’s fully potty trained and crate trained, and one of his cutest traits is his happy little hops when he gets excited. He would do best in a home with older children or no kids, where he can continue to build confidence and soak up all the love he deserves. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. She was an amazing mama to her five beautiful babies, and now that her mom duties are done, it is finally her turn to find a family of her own. Velvet is potty trained, very gentle with kids, not destructive, and does great with dogs of all sizes. She also rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for both cozy nights at home and outings together.
